I WALK THIS EMPTY STREET
Personality
DISLIKES: Knockturn alley, dark arts, the person her sister became, drugs that aren't herbal, St. Mungo's, pumpkin pie, liars, the texture of seaweed, the sound of knuckles cracking
LIKES: Cooking, drinking smoothies, gardening, knitting (though she's dreadful at it), kicking back and relaxing, affection, writing her children, having fun with her husband, the feel of sand between her toes
BAD HABITS: Nibbles on the end of things when she's bored - quills, straws, you name it; when she's upset, she always ends up breaking glasses; swearing in front of the kids, probably too much
GOOD HABITS: She never forgets a date - which sometimes means big trouble for Lee; always overcompensates - if you want something, you'll get five lots of it; always cleans up after herself
WEAKNESSES: Her husband's kisses. If he kisses her when she's even the slightest bit annoyed at him, he always manages to shut her up with a kiss; if you present her with a strawberry smoothie then you're probably her favourite person of the day; puppy dog eyes
STRENGTHS: She's always been able to say no where Lee can't; she's an extremely good cook; she's very much a people person
PERSONALITY: Elizabeth started off as a little girl from a disadvantaged family with a bad reputation and she played that part well until she got to her fourth year at Hogwarts where she turned into Libby, the girl who was full of life and just wanted to be accepted without automatically being linked to her family's rather dark background. When she was a teenager, Libby was a lot more full-on. She never actively rebelled but she also did in a way. She tried to distance herself from the Moon reputation as much as she could. She went through boyfriends like she did dirty socks - but this wasn't without reason. See, she grew up in a family where affection was very scarce. She can count on one hand the times either of her parents embraced her. Her reason for her many boyfriends and sleeping with quite a couple of them is simple - she liked people loving her. She loved being loved and if that made her an attention seeker than so be it.
By the time that she hit her twenties, she mellowed out quite a bit. She was still quite passionate about a lot of things, of course, but she stopped sleeping around so much and started her first and only long-term relationship with Lee Jordan, somebody who she's still with today with the passion still very much there. With her husband, their relationship has always been quite flirty and PDA-ish. They don't feel ashamed to show everybody how very much in love they are and are constantly touching each other whether it be by holding hands or kissing cheeks.
Her personality as a mother is rather laid-back. While she'd hate to see any harm come to her daughters, she's not very strict with them. She cares about them, of course, but she feels that too many rules at once aren't a healthy thing and that a child shouldn't be restricted by them. She's fairly protective of her kids but in a rather easy-going way. She's a 'cool mum.' The one thing she doesn't tolerate from her children, however, is lying. She's very open to her kids about herself and she expects them to be the same way in return.

WHERE THE CITY SLEEPS
Relationships
AMORTERIA: Strawberries, her husband's aftershave, rain
MIRROR OF ERISED: For her daughters to grow up and live their lives to the fullest while she grows old with Lee.
VERITASERUM:
1) To her, the boy who helped her lose her virginity is just another face. She doesn't remember him at all. But she does, however, remember her first kiss quite clearly because it was the first time that a guy had even remotely shown any interest in her.
2) She's still clinging onto the little hope she has left that her brother is still alive.
3) The reason she slept around so much when she was younger wasn't because she was a slag but rather because she liked to feel loved and that wasn't something she got much of at home.
4) The only member of her family that she still talks to is her sister, Euphemia, who she finds herself rather disappointed in. She hasn't spoken to her parents in about fifteen years now.
5) She misses Lee's dreadlocks.
BOGGART: For her brother's death to be confirmed. That's her biggest fear. She's still clinging onto the slightest piece of hope that he's still alive even though she knows it isn't rational and very possibly untrue.
DEMENTOR: There are two contenders:
1) When she found out about her brother's disappearance.
2) When her daughter, Erica, was diagnosed with a rare form of dragon pox and had to be hospitalised for 3-4 months and kept in quarantine. She ached to hold her daughter and tell her it was all going to be fine but instead she had to watch helplessly as her daughter was kept in isolation.
PATRONUS: Holding her daughters in her arms for the first time. She didn't think she would have been able to get through either of their births but with Lee holding her hand the whole time, she somehow managed and it definitely paid off.

HISTORY: Elizabeth Anne Moon was born at the stroke of midnight on an unexpectedly stormy night on the 4th of July as the second child to Thaddeus and Madeleine Moon. Unfortunately, being born into the Moon family meant a lot of things: it meant scarce amounts of money, barely being fed, and second-hand everything. She learnt from a young age, however, that complaining wasn't tolerated in their house. Neither was affection. To this day, Libby can count the number of times on one hand she was embraced by either of her parents in that dark, grubby house off Knockturn Alley she lived in for the entirety her childhood.
Before she joined Hogwarts, her life wasn't too exciting. There wasn't much to do in Knockturn Alley and her parents didn't care much about what she did unless she got in trouble and bothered them. She spent most of her days running around the streets of Diagon Alley with her sister Euphemia. She preferred the streets of Diagon Alley because the people there were a lot nicer and it wasn't quite as dark as it was in Knockturn Alley. She and her sister managed to make friends with quite a few of the shopkeepers children whose parents were always wary a bit wary of them due to her parent's connection to their Slytherin roots - and, of course, the fact that her mother and father were notoriously involved with the Dark Arts, something she didn't discover until she was accepted in Hogwarts at the age of eleven.
As Elizabeth joined her older brother at Hogwarts for her first year, she was sorted into Slytherin. It was something that didn't come as a surprise to anyone, including the Professors. Her first three years at Hogwarts flew by rather quickly and before she knew it, she was entering the notorious fourth year, the one that her brother always claimed 'shaped' you and it did shape her because Elizabeth Moon quickly became Libby Moon who opposed the Slytherin stereotype and attempted to shed the bad reputation her parents left her with. Previously rather plain in both terms of personality and looks, she merged into something more - into a girl who was full of life who wanted nothing more than the acceptance of her peers. Even though she was far cry from being popular, she didn't mind. In fact, she embraced it and she hung out with whoever she liked.
During her stay at Hogwarts, Libby went through quite a few boyfriends but she never managed to hang on for them for long. She always ended up finding some new guy who caught her eye until the next one came along. She went through boys - and even a few girls - like yesterdays socks. She lost her virginity at fifteen to some guy she can't remember the name of any more because she just wanted to get it over and done with. It wasn't that big of a deal. Sex was just sex until, later on, she discovered that it was much better with somebody who managed to catch her attention for over a week.
In the summer between her sixth and seventh year at Hogwarts, her older brother, Taurus, she woke up one morning to find that her brother Taurus was missing. Just assuming that he'd snuck off in the middle of the night to another's house, she didn't think much of it - until a morning turned into a week which turned into a month. She and her sister made the decision to contact the Ministry of Magic but by that time, it was too late. The Aurors, too worried about the dark powers in play, told them that because of their family's reputation, coupled with the fact that they were known for their participation in the Dark Arts, that chances were he had made the decision to join the Death Eaters. Taurus never came back and while Libby still clings onto the vain hope that he's still alive today, after almost twenty years, she's almost completely given up hope.
By the time that the Battle of Hogwarts came around, Libby was in her seventh year of Hogwarts and because she was afraid to do anything else, she left with the other Slytherins, a decision she would have regretted for the rest of her life if it weren't have been for what happened after. As the Slytherins, along with all the underage students, weren't hurried out of the Hogs's Head, Libby saw a small child detach himself from the group and slip back, towards Hogwarts. Horrified, she went after him, unseen by anyone else. However, before she caught him, he was discovered by a Death Eater on an indiscriminate killing spree. The short version of the story is that Libby, with the element of surprise on her side, disarmed the Death Eater, saving the life of the little boy. By this time, the rest of the students had departed from the village and the battle was getting underway. Libby took the boy back to the Hog’s Head, despite his demands to ‘go and fight’ and stayed with him there for the rest of the night, listening to the sounds of the battle raging.
Later, when the boy was reunited with his family, they came and found Libby and thanked her for keeping him safe. That boy was Aaron Jordan, 1st Year nephew of Lee Jordan, and Libby and her future husband, Lee, met for the first time. It wasn't what you'd call 'love at first sight' but more 'like at first sight' that developed into love. They exchanged addresses and wrote back and forth for about three months until finally he asked her out on a date where they hit it off right away. A year later, after Libby had finished her repeated seventh year of Hogwarts, she decided to turn her back on the life her parents led and instead to choose one that was full of happiness and laughter. She doesn't speak to her parents any more and only speaks to her sister vaguely.
Anyways, to tell the short version of the story, Libby and Lee fell in love, had a child (Erica) after spending about ten years together, got married in a simple setting and then they had another child (Felicity). It all happened in that order as well.
In her mid-twenties, Libby opened up a cafe in Diagon Alley named the Tamarisk Tree and by the time she was thirty-three, she had gotten the family she had always wanted. They moved into a house on a small residential side street off the Alley, where their children grew up. Libby often took her daughters to work with her, and her oldest daughter Ricky grew up running around the cafe, charming (or annoying, depending on their disposition) the customers and 'helping out.'
When Ricky was diagnosed with a rare form of dragon pox, Libby was frozen. Helpless. She couldn't lose her baby girl like she'd lost her brother all those years ago. Paralysed with fear, she became stressed and that tore somewhat of a rift between her and Lee. She was constantly shrugging off his attempts to make her feel better because it didn't. It made her feel like they were just accepting what was happening and watching their daughter struggle as she fell into a critical condition. She cried for a week straight, thanking every single person she could think of, for helping to save her little girl and eventually apologised for reacting so harshly to Lee's attempts at comforting her. As Ricky returned to Hogwarts, the rift between her and Lee mended and they're now going as strongly as ever.
