[/font][/center]DISLIKES: Dark magic, bullying or cruelty, people trying to take advantage of his kindness, forgetting where he’s put something… again, Chocolate Frogs (as a man who’s had toads his entire life, he can’t help but feel a bit uncomfortable)
LIKES: The greenhouse, his family, breeding different sorts of flowers to give to Hannah, holidays, hikes/plant collecting trips
BAD HABITS: He’s clumsy, and has knocked over numerous porcelain-y things, he’s very forgetful, and a bit absent-minded, he can be too forgiving at times, and tends to give people a few more chances than they may deserve
GOOD HABITS: He visits his parents on every holiday, and makes sure to remember all of the birthdays and anniversaries in his family. He is extremely patient, and tries to ensure that he’s done everything he possibly can to better a situation, before he gives up on it. He is very meticulous with his plants, and has them organized and tends to them very carefully, sometimes better than he cares for himself.
WEAKNESSES: His daughters – his entire family, really, as he adores all of them. Trevor V, his toad. His Mimbulus mimbletonia, which he is still very sentimentally attached to.
STRENGTHS: He’s very hardworking, and never shies away from a task because it is difficult. He’s unwilling to let something unjust go past him without comment; if he thinks it’s wrong, he will point it out. Herbology, obviously. Manual labor – not necessarily sports, but he’s done a lot of hiking and digging in the name of his greenhouse.
PERSONALITY: Neville’s surprisingly shy, and one of the more private ex-members of the DA. His daughters and wife have him very much wrapped around their fingers, and he’s a very doting dad and a loving husband. He loves them very much, though he's sometimes worried he is not doing a good job being a father to them, because he has no father figure to compare himself to. He tries to be as understanding and patient as he can, though, and makes sure to not force any of his expectations on them.
He tends to grow very open and comfortable around his old friends and his family, but tends to be much more withdrawn around people he’s only just met. He’s a very capable and patient professor, and very gentle with his students, to the point where some don’t actually believe that he fought in the war. He’s also developed a slightly self-deprecating, gentle sense of humour, which tends to make people feel very comfortable around him.

HISTORY:
Neville's Seventh Year is filled with both good and bad memories - while it was one of the worst years of his life, it's also the year he met Hannah Abbott. While initially he spent time with her simply because she reminded him that not everything was as horrible as it seemed, he eventually grew to appreciate her for who she was - though it wasn't until he saw her defending the younger students during the Battle of Hogwarts that he realized how deep his feelings for her were.
He returned to Hogwarts to finish up his seventh year properly, and to take his NEWTS, and was hired as a teaching assistant by Professor Sprout shortly after. He proposed to Hannah on the fourth anniversary of their first date, while she was still working in the Leaky. She, officially bought the Leaky Cauldron from Tom shortly afterwards, and they both moved into the upstairs quarters.
Grace was born two years later, and Neville actually took a year off of his internship/TA position at Hogwarts to spend time with her. However, he'd taken on the full Professor position by the time Abby and Alice were born, so he couldn't take a year off to help with them, something he has always regretted.
He's kept in close touch with many ex-members of the DA, especially the Weasley-Potters and their children, though he is also very close with the MacMillans through Hannah.
As a Herbologist, Neville specializes in the breeding and care of rare or endangered magical plants, and is widely known for possessing one of the most long-lived Mimbulus mimbletonia's currently in existence, and has won a number of honors and prizes for his work.
