WEAKNESSES:[/b] quite vain and wastes a lot of time worrying about her hair/clothes, once she has formed an opinion on somebody she won't change it for anything, has a bit of a thing for revenge, quite self-absorbed and barely notices what other people are doing unless something about them catches her attention, has absolutely no scruples when it comes to guys (if she thinks they're hot, she doesn't give a fuck if they've already got a girlfriend), lazy as a general rule (although she makes sure to exercise regularly), will do anything - literally anything - for coffee.
PERSONALITY:[/b] Flick is basically out to have a good time. She's incredibly confident for a girl her age, and is never shy around anyone. She knows she's hot and this slight arrogance leads her to come off as a bit stuck-up, but in actual fact she's very friendly and is happy to strike up a conversation with anyone, even a kid the rest of the school has decided to shun socially, if the mood strikes her. Flick plays by her own rules and doesn't give a fuck what anybody else says. She tends to stay above the petty arguments that run through her year, partly because she gets bored of them quickly and partly because she just can't be arsed. She dislikes arguments because she feels they're a waste of energy, although she can be as bitchy as the next person. If you try to wind her up or insult her to get into a fight, she'll probably either just ignore you or give you a look that implies you're never going to be as good as her, why even try, and then walk away. The only time things get messy is if you hurt or insult her family - then you probably ought to be quite scared. Just as Flick has few boundaries socially and will get to know anyone, she has no hesitation about getting her revenge swiftly and where it will hurt the most.
She's an outgoing girl and makes friends easily, although in a large group she tends to be a bit quieter. Especially in Gryffindor, people tend to rival each other in terms of loudness to be the centre of attention. Flick prefers to keep out of the spotlight until the opportune moment, at which point she'll make some witty remark and have all the attention switched onto her instantly. Her boldness is legendary, although temperamental, and in the right mood she'll give anything a shot - although equally she may decide it's not worth her time and just abandon the idea before she's really begun. If she goes out with some mates and they spot a group of hot older guys, Flick will be the one who goes up to them and strikes up a conversation without a second thought. Her sheer disregard for caution is quite infectious and she often gets those around her into quite difficult situations without really meaning to.
She's almost OCD about exercising, making sure she gets a good hour in every day to keep in shape, but outside of this she is almost chronically lazy. She could probably sleep eighteen hours a day if she didn't have lessons, and is often so deeply asleep in the mornings that she doesn't hear her alarm clock and misses first lesson. She also has the gift of falling asleep absolutely anywhere - at a desk, on the floor, in a theatre... you name it, she can sleep there. She even fell asleep inside an old chest of drawers once when she was playing hide and seek with her family. She doesn't believe in wasting energy and will sweet talk someone into fetching things for her so she doesn't have to get off her sofa in the common room. Fortunately she hasn't learnt the accio charm yet, or she'd be even worse.
She would never admit it, but she tends to think of herself as a bit superior to a lot of the people around her. She can be quite patronising and often shoots down people's ideas without a thought if she thinks they're stupid. She tends to communicate disinterest or contempt for an idea by pulling a face that just says 'could that be any more lame?' and if a group she's with decides to do something she thinks is stupid she'll just walk off and leave them to it. She doesn't mind being by herself, since she doesn't ever feel awkward being alone - she knows people won't think she's just got no friends.
As equally as she can be very grown-up and mature compared to her peers, she has many moments where she reverts to being a little girl, especially around her family. She winds her big brother up like there's no tomorrow and practically hero-worships her older sister, although she bickers with her quite a bit too just because that's what sisters do. She adores them both and would do anything for them, she would just never ever let them know that in a million years. She finds a lot of very immature things incredibly funny and, although she likes going out partying, a lot of the time she'd rather just go to see a film with some mates. She can get very giggly and silly in class if she's in the right mood, and tends to suffer from an inability to stop laughing when she's being told off for talking in class.

HISTORY:[/b] Flick grew up in a very large, very happy family. Everyone around her was so loud and ebullient and it quickly became apparent that she was going to be the same, being quite a precocious toddler and then a very self-assured young girl. She always adored her family and although she mixed happily with the other kids at the Muggle school she was sent to before Hogwarts, it was always her siblings that she considered her best friends, and she'd rather spend the weekend with her mum and dad than with her classmates on playdates. Her older brother, Jojo, was regularly sick when they were all younger, and Flick quickly got used to playing second fiddle in her mother's eyes. She didn't begrudge Jojo that at all - in fact, she worried about him a lot and if her mother tried to spend time with her while Jojo was sick, she'd tell her off and refuse to play until her mum had checked on Jojo.
As a little girl, Flick always adored dressing up and her best memories of her childhood are of her big sister Rosa playing dress-up with her, putting on pretend fashion shows and generally pretending to be supermodels. Flick originally pretty much copied her sister in terms of style, but these days she's starting to get an original look of her own, although it's always Rosa she'll run to if she wants advice on an outfit.
She was very lonely at home when first Rosa, then Jojo went off to Hogwarts. Being the sort of girl who thrives on being sociable, left to her own devices Flick became a bit of a tearaway and gave her parents much cause for despair. She was such a cute kid, though, that her cheekiness tended to make people laugh rather than cross, and she enjoyed people's amusement so much that she totally played up to it, becoming even more precocious and learning quickly how to be witty and charming.
She followed her brother and sister off to Hogwarts finally, and once she was there she saw a golden opportunity - she had never been a fan of her first name, Gloria, because there was this Gloria character in a TV show she'd always hated as a small child who was a total cow; so she started going by her middle name, Felicita, which was such a mouthful everyone automatically shortened it to Flick or Fliss. She never asked her family to call her anything other than Gloria, though, and to this day she quite enjoys having "two" names - it helps her keep her social life seperate from her family life, which she regards as quite important. Flick followed her brother and sister into Gryffindor and settled in quickly, making friends easily thanks to her lack of shyness and good sense of humour and total absence of self-consciousness.
She did averagely in class. She was never anywhere near as brilliant as her elder sister, but neither did she get herself a lot of detentions from fighting or arguing like Rosa did. She very rarely got into arguments with teachers because the charm that had kept her cheekiness from passing over into insolence in her childhood persisted through into her pre-teen and then her teenage years, and more often than not her comments in class have the teacher laughing rather than remonstrating with her - although she still gets herself in trouble quite often and doesn't always succeed in turning the situation to humour.
She was and is very content at Hogwarts. She's largely oblivious to the bullying that her older brother endured, and people are generally too intimidated by her to repeat any gossip about her sister so she remains pretty ignorant of what people say about them. She would die if she knew that anybody was hurting them - even though she's the younger sibling, she considers it her duty to protect them from getting hurt and would probably go mental if she found out what Jojo had been through. She has, however, heard a few vague rumours about the fact that her sister was quite "easy" with boys, and although she tends to punch anybody who says that, inside she's vowed that she won't make her sister's mistakes. She likes to snog boys but that's as far as she's gone and she doesn't plan to lose her virginity any time soon - even if she generally acts like she's a lot more experienced than she is.
She found out two years ago that she has an older half-sister, Rosario. Her father sat her down and told her very calmly, explained that her siblings already knew but he'd wanted to keep it from her for a little while longer. Flick, at the time, was distracted because her favourite boy band's new single was playing on the radio in five minutes so the news didn't really bother her at all - in fact she spent most of her father's explanation squirming in her seat watching the clock, trying to hint to him that she really had better things to be doing. Once the song had played, she put a bit more thought into the idea of having a half-sister. She never met the girl, and as far as Flick could see it didn't affect their family in the slightest, so she pretty much forgot Rosario even existed and doesn't consider it a problem at all.
