CASUISTRY's first photo manipulation contest is here!
The admins of CASUISTRY have decided that now is the perfect time to have a photo manipulation contest. Why, you ask? Well, we've noticed that a lot of you are trying to become better at manipulating photos and we've decided to throw in an incentive. Below are the rules and more about the contest.
RULES
1) Anyone can join.
2) There are 8 categories (love, hate, friendship, family, dark, light, lyrics and a word). The categories that will have pairings will only have one pairing.
3) You do not have to enter all of the categories. Enter as many or as few as you wish.
4) You will send your photo manipulation to any admin with your name and which category the picture(s) is for.
5) The contest is run every three weeks. The first two weeks are for you to work on your manipulations and submit them. The last week is for the members of the vote for their favorite manip!
6) You may not vote for manipulations in categories you've entered. For example, if you only enter the Love category, you may not vote in the category, but feel free to vote in the others.
7) Please only submit one manip per category.
8) Admins and moderators may enter the contest.
TIMES
The first contest will begin on Friday, September 16th, 2011. Manips will be accepted until 11:59pm PST (-8 GMT; 7:59am BST, +5 GMT) Friday, September 23rd. Voting will be held until Friday, September 30th.
PRIZES
Grand Prize: 100 points to the house of your choice.
1st Place: 50 points to the house of your choice.
2nd Prize: 25 points to the house of your choice.

1) Love
The pairing for this category is Emily Marsdon & Digger Powell. Face claims are Carey Mulligan & Matt Bomer.
2) Hate
The pairing for this category is Lucius Malfoy & People. Face claims are Jason Isaacs & people.
3) Friendship
The pairing for this category is Hermione Granger, Harry Potter & Ronald Weasley. Face claims are Rose Bryne, Richard Armitage & Damien Lewis.
4) Family
The family for this category is the Nott family (Theo, Daphne, Chloe & Sebastian.) Face claims are Eric Bana, Katherine Heigl, Candice Accola & Chace Crawford.
5) Dark
In this category, you may use any face claim or pairing (on CASUISTRY) you please, but the overall theme of the manip must be dark.
6) Light
In this category, you may use any face claim or pairing (on CASUISTRY) you please, but the overall theme of the manip must be light.
7) Lyrics
You may use any character or pairing, revolving any around any event (if it helps your inspiration.) The lyrics are:
"Well there ain't nothing wrong with the way she moves, scarlet begonias or a touch of the blues. And there's nothing wrong with the look that's in her eyes" (Scarlet Begonias by Grateful Dead.) If uninspired by these lyrics, you may look up the rest of the lyrics for inspiration.
8) Word
You may use any character or pairing. The word is "peace".
