Oh my dear diary! You have absolutely no idea how pleased I am about the new I've been hearing these days! And yes, it does have to do with Jethro FINALLY going out with someone. Remember Saoirse? Yeah, I didn't even know it was her and then we met for a drink and here she was, talking to me about her date who happened to be Jethro! Wonderful, right? I know. Oh and then Digger's gotten back with Emily; I'm so happy they managed to get past the problems they had.
Because nothing pleases a matchmaker more than watching people happy and in love, right?
I'll answer for you since you're too timid to do so yourself; right.
But you know what, Diary, I sometimes wish, you know, when I'm sitting in the office during a dull afternoon or traveling across some part of the country during night, when I'm sitting on this same table drinking a hot cup of coffee on a rainy evening, when I feel all alone; I wonder. Is there someone, in some part of the world, who would be thinking about me too? Would they be wondering the same way I am? Would they want to see me as desperately as I want to meet them? Unanswered questions, of all things, annoy me the most and I've been hearing one too many of them these days.
Sorry I took so long, Diary, Dad finally replied to my owl. It seems he apparently lost all of mine. He's asked me to go to the house; the Cristiano's daughter has been invited too. I wonder what this could be about, but I guess it would have something to do with her father; whom I had great respect for. I guess I'll go, if only to pay my respects to the children of a person I admired.
And maybe, just maybe, I could convince Dad that we can hold Jethro's secret birthday party there. Oh shit, now I have to make sure Jethro never finds it. Tough job, I tell you.
Until I have time later,
Muirin Nessa.
P.S.: I have a date on tuesday, did I tell you that? He's just this random guy Saoirse thought would be fun to ask out on my behalf. He agreed; I hope he isn't some desperate guy or something.
