I WALK THIS EMPTY STREET
Personality
DISLIKES: Coffee of any kind, her father's fame (not his success, only the fame), people who sing despite knowing they can't, vegetables, the time during the afternoon between 12 and 3, the music of the "current" Muggle generation
LIKES: Her father's songs, singing, Muggle classical music, white chocolate, the color green (although it has nothing to do with her old Hogwarts house), Muggle clothes, dressing up, organic food (a quirk she shares with her sister).
BAD HABITS: Tapping her foot, a bit of a perfectionist, is particular about cleanliness to the point of obsessive compulsive, a bit of a chocoholic
GOOD HABITS: she doesn't mind helping those around her if they need it, she sings religiously for at least an hour every morning to "not lose her touch", encouraging
WEAKNESSES: White chocolate, falls for guys a bit easily, her family
STRENGTHS: punctuality, determination and her immense will power to do what she wants, hard working
PERSONALITY: Kenzie is what most people would call "the one everybody loves". She practically radiates self confidence and beauty. When it comes to helping others she's always ready to reach out to others. People often come to her for advice, including friends and colleagues. She's always been a smart girl, getting the good grades, getting the right job, making her family proud and all of it.
However, sometimes her obsessive compulsive side makes her a perfectionist. If she's doing a job, it has to be perfect down to the right dots and crosses. It probably has something to do with the fact that despite her father's success, she was not born with the musical gene. She had to work hard until she achieved the level of perfection and to this day wakes up at dawn to practice singing in hopes of perfecting it further (even if people had said she's already pretty good). She can also be a bit of a show off and a hypocritical. But that's very rare.
(The reasoning for the next paragraph will be explained in her history.)
When it comes to boys, Kenzie is not that outgoing. She falls for guys quite easily, that too for the ones who aren't always good for her (which is a bit against her perfectionist persona). However, she never trusts them, dates them or lets them know her feelings. She'll befriend them, talk to them like any other, but the slightest of romantic interest and she'll practically run in the opposite direction. As long as it's a no strings attached thing it's fine, but any form of commitment scares her.

HISTORY:
Born in 1999, Mackenzie Tremlett was welcomed into a loving, yet small (at the time) family. From a young age, she'd always hang around Euan, looking up to her big brother. She loved getting spoilt by her mother and singing with her father. She was almost a bit of a brat. But when she was old enough to put two and two together, she realized that as a bassist and manager of a world famous band, as much as you want to, you cannot always devote time to your kids, especially not twenty four hours. She quickly learnt to live on her own though, proficient enough to dress herself and walk to school with Euan a the young age of 5.
She was always the topper of the muggle class and since it was at a age where that wasn't considered 'nerdy' she was looked up to by her friends. She was always the center of attention and loved it. At the age of six she started singing, honestly considering it as a dream career. She would wake up each morning and sing along to old classical records. Her father insisted that she was wonderful but she wanted to be the best, especially she didn't consider a loved one's opinion honest enough.
When she got her Hogwarts letter, she was disappointed though. She'd just started middle school and was beginning to get introduced to the world of a muggle middle schooler. But since she had no choice, she told them she was going to boarding school (as instructed) and would come home to show off each summer.
The day she arrived at Hogwarts, she was hoarded by nearly everybody from the moment her name was called out to the Hat. The second Tremlett child had entered the building. She hated the attention though and it was the first time she had. She'd eat meals by herself, talk only to her professors and one dorm mate and spend weekends doing homework. She was practically the quietest Slytherin there was. But when Euan found her in the library one day he confronted her about it and reassured her. Always having trusted him she blindly followed his advice to open up a bit more and was engulfed in the circle of students. Ultimately she made friends who she trusted enough to talk to about more than music and concert tickets.
But in her fourth year things became hell for her in Hogwarts. She began to loath her magical abilities, she hated the way she had to spend all her time there and would crave vacations. Why? Because she had, simply put, fallen in love with a muggle boy from her old school. Sixteen years old, he was everything her muggle friend adored: Older, cricker player, son of the richest man in town. She would hang out with him and his friends back home all the time, something which was not difficult given her status among friends. She was the beautiful girl who went to the elite prep school up north and everybody wanted to get to know her. During the winter break of her fourth year, she practically spent every day and night with the boy, going to parties, to his house, to the park, on dates, everything. She was almost obsessed with him but she called it love. And it was easy for her to believe it, since he was equally obsessed with her. The whole town talked off them. "Kenzie and Thomas. Thomas and Kenzie." The night before she was to return to school for the spring semester, they had gone out for a picnic date. On the way back, he had stopped his car and they were making out on the back seat when things got pretty heated and she ended up giving away her virginity. Too lightheaded and in love to realize what she was doing, she revealed her identity as a witch. Expecting him to be more in love with her, she waited. Instead he laughed in her face. He refused to believe her, thinking it was an elaborate joke. Desperate to get him to understand, yet bound by the Trace, she did the only thing she could. She took him home, knowing it was a wizarding environment and the magic would not be detected, and cast a small charm. He dumped her instantly, shocked by what he'd seen and freaked out. Heartbroken, she left.
She became withdrawn and depressed. At school she'd act normal and nobody would notice but inside she was slowly falling apart at the seams. Too overwhelmed by her emotions and regret, she started taking drugs. Euan was the first to notice her change and tried to get it out of her. Pushed to the limit she broke down and told him everything and in the fear of losing his sister, he took her to a muggle doctor during the summer break. There she was confronted with two of the biggest shocks of her young life. She was diagnosed as clinically depressed and she found out that Thomas had spilt the beans about her identity and been labelled as 'mentally unstable'. Nobody in the family knew. Racked with the guilt, she took her medicines and tried to put her world together again, back to its perfection so that nothing bad would happen again. This caused her to become withdrawn among boys, having been so brutally rejected by her first and last (so she says) love.
When she finally graduated from Hogwarts, she joined the Ministry of Magic and was finally recovering to the point of going by without medicines. She was proud of her siblings, looked up to her parents and was finally successful. Life was perfect. She was still doing drugs though, something she was not proud of.
The night she found her baby sister suffering from drugs was the day she vowed never to touch them again. She saw what it did to her parents and hates the thought of them suffering that way for her. She cried the whole time Pippa was unconscious in the hospital and tried her best to help her, all the while suffering from her own withdrawal. It was for this reason she grew much closer to Pippa, almost as close as she was to Euan.
Now that her life is a bit more stable again, she is reverting back to the girl she was before she was fourteen. Cheerful, helpful and radiating. And she hopes she can go on like this for ever.
