She is also the founder of SPEW, and has a hand in the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures.

PERSONALITY: Hermione is very much the same know- it - all she once was as a young girl, but now, however, she picks and chooses her battles better. She is fiercely loyal, and was once told that she holds the courage of ten Gryffindors. She's afraid of very little, and has a fiery temper if prompted. She's retained her cleverness, and her tenacity to be one of the best.
When Hermione's mad, everyone knows it. She tries not to get angry often, though. Anger, Hermione has always noted, is a wasted emotion. Dealing with the emotional ups and downs of her true love Ronald Weasley, however, has truly tested Hermione's patience. She loves her husband very much, but at times he has the tendency to act like a child still -- which pushes her buttons. Especially when he whines about her cooking. Hermione has never been a great cook, so she finds that once she does cook something, she hopes for the best.
Her sensitive side is shown a lot more than her stubborn, bullheaded, angry side. She's very much a girl when it comes to feelings. She doesn't see the reasons behind being cold and aloof. She loves to talk, and to listen. She's generally an all around inviting person.
She's a very hands on Mother and wife. She'll go out of her way for her children and bend over backwards for the rest of her family. When it comes to her nieces and nephews, she is pretty much the same way. She will often left them get away with murder up to a certain point. She's not very keen on hollering at them, so with one look she usually silences them.
Her teaching is very similar to that of Professor Minerva McGonagall. She assures that she has her students attention at all time and that everyone is learning; she knows she teaches a boring subject, but expects the utmost respect.

HISTORY:
Early history Here
After the second wizarding war, Hermione returned to Hogwarts -- well, what was left (which was also being rebuilt) -- and finished her education, graduating at the top of her class. She was the only one of the trio to return to Hogwarts and graduate after the final battle.
She spent the next few years working on translating the original copy of The Tales of the Beadle in Bard, which Dumbledore had left to her in 1997.
In the summer of 2003, after years of courtship, Ron finally asked Hermione to Marry him; she said yes without hesitation. At this time she had already earner a position in the ministry working for the Dept. Of Magical Law Enforcement. She began work on eradicating old laws designed to give purebloods a leg up. She and Kingsley made sure the laws became non-biased and helpful to all. At this time, she continued to work with the Dept. of Magical creatures and continued to build her organization S.P.E.W.
In 2005, one of her best friends, and sister-in-law, Ginny Potter, became pregnant with her first child, naming Hermione God-Mother to her and Harry's son, James Sirius Potter. Later that year, Hermione became pregnant with her first child, a girl. At the same time, Fleur, Angelina, and Audrey (her sister in laws) along with Ginny, were also pregnant.
Hermione gave birth to Rose Weasley July 21st 2006. Two years later, she was gifted with her second child, a boy: Hugo Weasley.
Hermione took a leave of absence from work to raise her children while Ron continued to work. Ron had become an auror along side Harry.
Hermione soon returned to work when she heard the news that her former teacher, and one time headmistress, Minerva McGonagall was retiring. Along with counteless others, Hermione celebrated her former head of house, and also began to look into the teaching position of Arithmancy now available at Hogwarts. At first she was weary, considering all of her nieces, nephews, and not to mention children attending the school, but was soon gifted with the job.
She continues to work in the ministry, but only as needed and during holidays.
