Personality
DISLIKES: boredom, illness, being trapped inside, doctors, red meat, liars, rules, annoying people
LIKES: chocolate, quidditch, dancing, being active, men/boys, challenges, having fun, being with her friends
BAD HABITS: Speaks and acts before she thinks; always leaves her things lying around; chews the end of her quill when she writes; runs her hands through her hair and leaves it a mess.
GOOD HABITS: Laughs a lot; stands up for what she thinks, eats healthily (except for her guilty chocolate binges); always remembers to keep in touch with people (when she can); sings quite nicely in the shower, thank you.
WEAKNESSES: Has trouble staying still; can't always see other people's points of view; loses her temper easily; trusts too easily; is thoughtless and disorganised; can't resist a hot guy (Or chocolate. Or both. Preferably together).
STRENGTHS: Is friendly, loving and affectionate, is good at making people feel welcome, is good at Transfiguration, learns quickly, is equally at home with people from very diverse backgrounds, does not judge, is always ready to forgive
PERSONALITY: Ricky has always been a bit of a wild child. A complete tomboy when she was little, she still has some of the aggressive tendencies normally associated with boys. She will always say what she thinks – she really sees no reason why she shouldn’t. If she thinks someone’s being a fucking prat, she’ll tell them they’re a fucking prat. However, she won’t hold a grudge – once she’s said it, that’s it, over and done with. She fully expects that that person will do as she says, stop being a fucking prat, and they can be friends again, no hard feelings. That’s what she would do if it was the other way round, and she can’t really see why it’s not like that for everyone.
She doesn’t care at all about rules – in fact she likes breaking them, whether those are school rules, or the rules of social etiquette. She has no interest in being a ‘lady’ and will loudly declare herself a feminist. However, she’s not a bra-burning feminist. She still likes to make the most of her femininity, although not in a girly way – leather jackets and cleavage-revealing tops and neon make-up are more her style. She is one of those girls who’s both aware and very open about her own sexuality. She’s not a slut – she’s still a virgin – but she doesn’t see sexuality as something to hide. She’s the girl who will walk into a room and immediately – and loudly – start summing up the ‘talent’ there. She likes flirting, but there will be no hair-twirling and girly giggling with Ricky. She thinks horribly forward pick-up lines are great – she uses them on boys all the time. She’s also not averse to experimenting with girls either, although she’s never gone very far, and generally considers herself ‘open-mindedly heterosexual.’
She is extremely disorganised, loves being active and hates having to stay still, although having said that, she also loves reading – give her a book she likes, and she’ll devour it for hours. She is also a very sociable, friendly, loving person. She will befriend pretty much anyone if they’re friendly to her, and she never holds grudges – for Ricky, an argument is over as soon as it’s over. Sometimes it upsets her when that’s not true for whoever she’s arguing with.
However, her recent illness has forced her into inactivity, which, while nearly killing her with boredom, has done wonders for her patience.

HISTORY: Lee Jordan and Libby Moon were never meant to be. At Hogwarts, they moved in different circles; one Gryffindor and one Slytherin. Lee was two years ahead, so their paths hardly crossed, and their backgrounds were worlds apart. Lee came from an ordinary, halfblood, middle-income family; his parents both had fairly insignificant Ministry jobs and at Hogwarts, of course, he made friends with people like the Weasley twins. Libby, on the other hand, came from a family who prided themselves on their Slytherin roots. They weren’t a family like the Malfoys; they had less money than the Weasleys, and lived in a dark, grubby little house off Knockturn Alley. Their ‘Slytherin-ness’ was all the Moons really had to be proud of, so they made the most of it. However, there was not much love in their house.
Lee and Libby were neither friends nor enemies; they hardly knew of each other’s existence. Nobody would have thought to pair their names together in any way. But as Libby grew up, she grew away from her family – she wanted to make more of herself, and to have a family where there was love and laughter.
Libby left with the other Slytherins before the Battle of Hogwarts, because she was afraid to do anything else, and would have regretted that decision all her life, if it hadn’t been for what happened afterwards. The Slytherins, along with all the underage students, were hurried out of the Hog’s Head, but as they left, Libby saw a small child detach himself from the group and slip back, towards Hogwarts. Horrified, she went after him, unseen by anyone else. However, before she caught him, he was discovered by a Death Eater on an indiscriminate killing spree. The short version of the story is that Libby, with the element of surprise on her side, disarmed the Death Eater, saving the life of the little boy. By this time, the rest of the students had departed from the village and the battle was getting underway. Libby took the boy back to the Hog’s Head, despite his demands to ‘go and fight’ and stayed with him there for the rest of the night, listening to the sounds of the battle raging.
Later, when the boy was reunited with his family, they came and found Libby and thanked her for keeping him safe. That boy was Aaron Jordan, 1st Year nephew of Lee Jordan, and Libby and Lee met for the first time.
Again, telling the short version of the story, Libby and Lee fell in love, had a child (Erica), got married and had another child (Felicity), in that order.
Lee continued to run his radio station, although it's now called Jordan River, not Potterwatch. Libby opened a cafe in Diagon Alley, and got the family she'd always wanted. They moved into a house on a small residential side street off the Alley, where their children grew up. Libby often took her daughters to work with her, and Ricky grew up running around the cafe, charming (or annoying, depending on their disposition) the customers and 'helping out.' As she got older, she was allowed out into Diagon Alley more, so she knows the street extremely well, and all the people who work in the shops there are old friends of hers.
Lee remained great friends with George Weasley, so one of the places Ricky was in most often was Weasley's Wizard Wheezes. She was always running in and out, and loved the days when George and Angelina brought Fred and Roxanne with them, so that she could play with them.
When Ricky was six, Felicity was born. She'd always been an independent kid, so it didn't bother her too much having her parents suddenly caught up with a new baby. She loved her sister from the start, although she was disappointed that Felicity didn't do more at first. However, she was always very protective over Felicity as they grew up, and adores her little sister to this day.
She went to Hogwarts as usual at eleven, leaving her sister at home. She was very happy at Hogwarts, being outgoing and friendly. She was averagely good at her lessons, although she found the theory side boring, and she liked playing quidditch and having fun and sneaking out at night.
However, in October last year, Ricky was diagnosed with a rare form of dragon pox. She was taken out of school and sent to St Mungo's, where she remained, in a critical condition, for some weeks. She was not allowed home until January, and she is still in strict quarantine and being monitored by the healers. However, modern advances in magical medicine have resulted in ways of limiting the long-term visual affects the disease has, which is why her appearance is normal. Her eyes became affected by the disease, and are weakened; she is not even permitted to read.
As a result, cooped up inside her house, she has been going slowly mad with boredom. However, the healers are optimistic, and she believes that she may soon be allowed out of quarantine. She will, however, need to repeat the year of school she has just missed (her 5th Year).
AND I WALK ALONE

The party was in full swing. Ricky wasn't drunk (yet) but the buzz she always got from the beat of the music, the laughter, the voices, her friends all around her... it was almost as good. Taking another drink from the butterbeer in her hand (she hadn't even started on the strong stuff yet), she spun onto the dance floor, moving to the music. Her friend was speaking to her, but she could only see her lips moving, so Ricky simply nodded, laughing, because that was enough.
She caught the eye of a boy standing close boy, watching her, and winked at him. He was quite good-looking, and definitely interested, but obviously much too shy and gentlemanly to approach her.
She approached him instead.
"Hey there," she shouted over the music, "You look like you could use a dance partner tonight..."
