[/font][/center]FATHER: Adolfo Marelli, 45, ex-Slytherin. Upholds very pureblood values. His marriage to Vittoria was arranged by his father after his previous betrothal to another woman was canceled because of the other woman's loss of wealth and status, even though Adolfo actually loved her.
MOTHER: Vittoria Marelli, 42, ex-Slytherin. Also very pureblood. Knows that Adolfo doesn't love her, though they respect each other, and uses her status as a wealthy woman in her own right to get her way. Very similar to her daughter, though Adreana is friendlier.
OTHER IMPORTANT FAMILY:
Carlina Marelli, 15. The rebellious one of the family, who is largely ignored by the rest of her family except for Adreana, who tries to keep contact minimal out of respect for her parent's wishes.
HISTORY:
Adreana grew up in a strict household. Her play dates were only scheduled with other purebloods {preferably Italian}, leading to Adreana not knowing what Muggleborns were. Her parents never said anything about Muggles or Muggleborns, bad or otherwise, so she thought that wizardry was the whole world. She has never been quite comfortable in Muggle London.
Until she turned nine, she and her family lived in Italy, next door to Vittoria's sister and her family. When her sister moved to England, Vittoria's personal family loyalty led her to moving her family to England, a street away from her sister. They remain very close.
She was very excited to go to Hogwarts, though she was reluctant to leave her family. She acted mature for her age, but refused to let herself care that her maturity might lead people to reject her, reminding herself that she always had her family.
She was quite close to Carlina when they were younger, in spite of the age difference, continuing this close friendship until Carlina's third year, when Adreana was eighteen. At this time, Carlina discovered she didn't agree with most of her parents values and self-centered attitudes, leading to a huge argument that none of their family ever spoke about afterwards, pretending that they were still a solid family unit.
She was almost sorted into Hufflepuff due to her love of hard work and loyalty, but twisted the Sorting Hat into sorting her into Slytherin, though she still suspects that the whole thing was simply a test.
She studied hard throughout her school years, making a handful of close friends in various years. Due to her love of gossip, she wanted to become a Daily Prophet reporter, but after continued pressure from her parents and recieving her NEWT scores, she entered Auror training and discovered she had an affinity for it. She is in her middle year of training (training lasts for three years).
