PERSONALITY: Mark is the quintessential good guy with a tragic flaw; he's having an affair, both emotionally and physically with one of his former med students. He loves his wife and his two children dearly, but he's not in love with his wife. He hasn't been for a while. He can't really explain what happened, or why but he wants out of his marriage.
Mark is always trying to do what's right, but at times he finds it hard. His children are the apples of his eyes and without them, he wouldn't know what to do; he definitely wouldn't stay with his wife.
At times, he has a reckless mischievous streak, but his career keeps that dormant.

HISTORY:
Mark Dashwood was born to a pureblood father and half blood mother on May 20th in 197?. He grew up highly privileged; his father was a ministry official. He spent seven years at Hogwarts Witchcraft and Wizardry as a member of the Ravenclaw House. Although a Ravenclaw, he was highly mischievous and devious. He loved to pull pranks and have fun. His best subject was potions, which led him to his love of magical medicine.
After school, he went into magical medicine, falling in love immediately. He also fell in love Kate Windsor, a former Hogwarts classmate. They married soon after Kate turned 20, Mark 24. Mark found himself on the fast tract of medical magic, earning degrees in magical surgery and awards of excellence in new potion discoveries. Soon after, Mark learned the news that he was to be a father. His first child was a boy, named after his father--who Mark idolized. Then a little girl came next, Rebbecca. His world changed with his little girl, but not necessarily for the better.
He and his wife became distant from one another, fighting often about absolutely nothing. At first he just rolled with the punches, not wanting to upset his marriage over anything frivolous. Then she walked into his life.
Mark met Elsie while he was tutoring a group of students for medical magic. He became immediately smitten by the fact that she seemed so enthralled and passionate about her love of medicine. He found himself attracted to her, but tried to distance himself, after all, he was a married man. One night, after long hours together, he found himself unable o stave off the growing attraction between himself and Elsie and gave in. They began a tumultuous affair and he'd never been happier and more guilty at the same time. He loved his wife, but was no longer in love with her. He's stayed with her, however, for the sake of his children.
He broke things off with Elsie recently, and has missed her dearly.
