Personality: Elsie is not your stereotypical nurse. Very skilled, she was part of the St. Mungo's Fast-Track programme for magical surgery. She's a bundle of contradictions: sarcastic, cynical, sweet and trusting. Although she may look fairly sweet with her slender figure and mousy hair, in reality, she's pretty kick-ass.

Background: Elsie is the only magical person in her family, but her family have always been proud and accepting of her, with the result that her upbringing was relatively untumultous and, well... boring. She adores her family, and would do anything for them. She graduated from Hogwarts with high marks in everything except Divination, and was accepted in the St. Mungo's Training Programme, from which she was accepted into it's fast-track programme. Elsie loved the challenge of magical cardiovascular surgery, and was - upon completion of her training - all set to go into a high pressure, high-flying career. It was at the point that it all, almost predictably, fell apart. She fell in love with her (married) tutor, who also fell for her yet never thought to leave his wife. Elsie was heartbroken, especially when she was passed over for her dream job (probably, she knows, due to the affair) and instead had to apply at Hogwarts. She loves it at Hogwarts though, and is now vaguely contemplating retraining as a magical paediatric surgeon instead.
