Personality: Émi is a quiet and shy young woman. She is very studious and likes to observe things. She loves to read. She is sweet and forgiving and often gets taken advantage of for this reason. She probably would have been sorted into Hufflepuff had she attended Hogwarts. She falls hard, loves deeply and hurts terribly after a break-up. She doesn’t guard her heart, though she knows she should. She is very homey and doesn’t like to go out much. Émi has only had one serious boyfriend, whom she dated for over a year. She was devastated when they broke up. She can be a bit of a klutz at times. She also, despite her gentle personality, tends to cuss at the most inappropriate times.

Background: Émi was adopted, but she doesn’t let that define her. She was adopted by a loving couple and grew up in the wizarding world of France. At age 7, her parents adopted another child, which was when Émi found out that she, too, was adopted. She didn’t take the news well, but eventually managed to get over the hurdle. She became very doting over her sister at a young age and remains close to her to this day. 3 years after her parents adopted her sister, they adopted Émi’s brother.
At a young ago, Émi noticed that she was very perceptive to the feelings of those around her – especially close friends or family members. She also could see muggle ghosts, which were never as friendly as wizarding ghosts and often scared her. Her parents didn’t understand why she had these abilities and why she got so upset when arguments burst out at home. No one understand it – not even Émi. Being able to feeling others’ emotions caused Émi to become the gentle, kind girl she is today.
Growing up, Émi fell in love with the art of dancing and ballet. She constantly danced around the house to express her moods, which at times she couldn’t vocalize. She was enrolled in ballet lessons at a young age and continued to dance all the way up until she was sent off to Hogwarts for a job. She also became interested in modeling during her teenage ages; and art – mainly painting. Émi fell in love with one of her fellow dancers and they began started going out around the time she turned 18. They dated for over a year and then Émi found out that he’d been cheating on her with one of her fellow female dancers, for the better half of their relationship. Émi was devastated and broke up with him. That night, she went out and got drunk with her best guy friend and lost her virginity to him.
After that, Émi’s dancing became more intense and more full of feeling. She spent nearly all of her time at the theatre, dancing her feelings away. Her painting also deepened because of her pain. She then got into a rendezvous with her painting professor, who was much older. She had a pregnancy scare and that’s when her parents decided that she needed something solid to hold her in place – they’d had enough of her artsy life. So they shipped her off to Hogwarts to let her intern as a librarian’s assistant.
