Urgh, seems like nothing new is happening in the world at all at the moment. How boring (I don't mean you're boring, just the world in general). Must be a post-Christmas, back-to-work, January-blues thing. I can't wait until the weather gets warmer - I'm not one to mind being out in a bit of rain, but this is just getting disgusting. The field's turned to mud and I can't teach the kids in that - all my lovely practical lessons are getting spoilt.

No beautiful new men in your life then? Come on, Jade, get on it. I live in a school - I need to live vicariously through my friends (did you like my big word I used there? It's Aislinn rubbing off on me). Well, I fancy getting out of Hogwarts/Hogsmeade personally, so I could apparate down to London to see you some time? I wonder if we could get Kenzie to join to us, and it could be a bit of a reunion. Have you heard from her lately?

It is boring as hell, I agree. Especially since the post-New Year high wore off. At least you have a school full of people that you can interact with - I don't really have anyone because Neil and Will are away at work most of the time.

Sadly, no, the last fling I had was like six months back. I can't even remember the guy all that well! I don't know what's happening to me. What does that word mean again? I've heard it used here and there but I didn't want to ask. I haven't heard from Kenzie - she's probably busy with her new career and all. But you tell me when you'll be free to come down to London and I'll make time that day.

Yeah, but most of the people here are school kids. And at least living in London, you have places to go. We only have Hogsmeade, which is a bit limiting. I forgot you were living with those two - how's that going?

Six months? We need to find you a new one, girl! Hm... I wonder if there are any single guys here I could set you up with. Teachers, obviously, not students. I'm not entirely sure what it means to be honest, but I've heard it used in that context before, so hopefully it's right. I think it just means through another person or something?

Surely Kenz would be able to take a single afternoon off from singing?! But anyway, Saturdays are best for me, for obvious reasons. Maybe next week or is that too soon for you?
