The year is 2022.
Salazar Slytherin, the original "Dark Lord", has managed to break the Veil and return to finish his work: to rid the wizarding world of muggleborn witches and wizards. Strange happenings had been occuring for weeks, but had been shrugged off as nothing by authorities. That was until the night of August 31st, the night the Veil was broken, when Audrey Young, the wife of Percy Weasley, had the life drained out of her by Salazar, creating a Wizarding community that is not only confused but also grieving. The Order are the only ones experienced enough to take on the new "Dark Lord" but, being dominated by the Weasley family, they are in no fit state to piece together the clues which would lead to the knowledge of Salazar’s return, and are certainly not ready to take action. The only ones that currently know of Salazars return are the pureblood families that he has sought out to help him in his quest, and their children are being encouraged to root out rivals even within the walls of Hogwarts. Secret groups and open rivalries are once again dominating the Wizarding World.
