I have not heard from you in quite a while, so thought I would initiate some form of correspondence at least.

I'm sure he's likely to have informed you already, but Scorpius thinks he might visit the Manor for Christmas day, which will be nice.

It is, in fact, on the subject of Christmas that I would like to ask you: do you have any ideas for what you would like for Christmas from your grandfather and myself? Scorpius and Ella at present have no idea, so any suggestions for what you think they might like will be gratefully received also.

Grandmother,

I've been quite busy with my studies lies and my prefect duties. I've also been spending quite a bit of time with Aggy and my friends, as well as trying to keep up with the family, too. Although spending time with Devyn is like getting kicked in the stomach repeatedly, then the person asking you if you're okay, and then punches you again. But she drinks with me. And she listens. So

No, Scorpius hadn't. I'm thankful for that though. After his what do we say in this family again? incident over the summer hols, it'll be nice having him home. Is mum going to be home?

What I would like? A new broom sounds nice spending money for drugs and alcohol; key to the liquor cabinet. Damn it, i'm going to be serious for more than five minutes. I don't expect much hell, it's nice when people actually remember me.

Scorpius was whining about his broom, as well, at practice last Saturday, so perhaps a new broom? I can always ask his girlfriend if she has any ideas? Not that I really enjoy talking to her, but if you'd like the information that badly. Scorpius won't tell me. As for Ella, whatever girly things you can think of. She likes clothes, ballet. Maybe she even knows what Scorp would like?
