Personality: Maria has a sort of split personality. She is mostly cheerful and loves company, crowds and noise. But she is very emotionally fragile and is provoked at the smallest insult. At these times, she goes into a shell and doesn't like people to talk to her.
She also gets embarrassed easily and is weak and easy to push around and manipulate. Holds herself in a very low opinion and insults herself many a time.
Talks a lot; sometimes, too much for her own good. She cannot be trusted with secrets. She knows that she is too flighty to have true friends, that's why she's rather depressed inside. Even though she's quite pretty and could be popular with boys, she prefers not to mingle with them much if she's not in a good mood.
When she's depressed, dance is her medicine. She sometimes waits till everyone has gone to bed and then dances (even without music, because she imagines the music in her mind). It helps her to let out her feelings.
