Lo arrived on the top floor of St Mungo's, taking a deep breath as she did so. She had just gone and peeked in at the room that Scorpius Malfoy was in, but hadn't spotted his younger brother and hadn't wanted to disturb him. Instead she'd stopped a healer and inquired if Damien was around, and once she'd discovered that he was she'd decided that the tearoom was the next most likely place to find him, and set off up the stairs rather than in the lift to give herself a bit of time to think.
To be fair, it had been such a long time that she'd completely forgotten why she'd fallen out with Damien, which told her that it must have been incredibly petty. Quite embarrassed about it, in fact, she'd been wanting to make up with him for some time but hadn't found the guts - and the longer she left it, the harder it got. But then she'd heard about his brother and had realised that this was no time for silliness - he would probably want his friends around him and she would be there for him if it cost her all the pride in her body.
So, now, she paused in the doorway and scanned the tearoom a trifle apprehensively. She finally spotted the familiar blond head at one of the tables, and with another deep breath forged towards him. Dodging around a couple of pretty healers, Lo finally arrived in front of Damien in a bit of a state.
"Look," she began, her words almost tripping over themselves in their haste to get out, not giving him a moment to speak, "I'm really sorry for being such a twat, and I'm really sorry about your brother, and I know I've been stupid and I'm sorry and I want to be friends again. If you want."
