How's the new term going? Feels really weird to think of you all at Hogwarts doing normal Hogwarts things and I'm not there. I'm sending you some chocolate brownies that didn't quite work - they're fine, just a bit too crumbly and I thought you wouldn't mind that...
Guess what?! I've got a job! Well, sort of...
Have you heard from Bow at all? I'm a bit worried about him, he seems to have disappeared off the face of the earth since him and Rosa broke it off...

The term's going alright! It's annoying though... the Professors keep bugging us about how we have to do well on our OWLs and I've just about had it. I'm not going to class anymore Cheers for the brownies! They were bloody delicious. Got any more?
What do you mean you've sort of got a job? You either have or you haven't!
No, I haven't. The prat hasn't replied to any of my owl's and I'm half-tempted to visit him... wherever he's living now!

Oh yeah, they have a habit of doing that. It's kind of their job, you know? Still, you're the clevererst of all of us, so I know you can do it! Don't stress too much though.
Fraid I don't have any more brownies, and I don't think the lasagne I made tonight would transport very well. I'll send you something next time I have something to send though. Glad you liked them.
Well, I've definitely got it, but it's only sort of a job. It's kind of half a job and half a course - a bit of an apprenticeship, I suppose. It's at a really good Muggle restaurant that takes trainees. So I'll be working, but I'll also be getting a proper chef's qualification while I do it. I wasn't really expecting to get it when I applied, but hey, they must have seen something they liked!
No, he hasn't replied to mine either. I'd leave him though - we know he's getting the letters or the owls would be bringing them back, and if he wants to be left alone, we should leave him alone. He's probably more upset by the whole thing than he let on...
Anything interesting going on with you other than OWLs (which probably don't really count as interesting)?
