I’m back in England. I hope you’ve been well – it’s strange saying that because I haven’t written in over six yearsbut mum’s told me all about how you’ve grown up and you’ve probably chosen to believe that I’ve forgotten about you or stopped caring entirely, so it’s fully understandable that you should be angry with me, though perhaps not as much as Will is going to be. I want you to be aware of the fact that I definitely haven't forgotten about you or anything we've been through as a family, and no matter what has happened, I promise that we can fix it.
I know you’re on summer holidays, and I’ll be over to Samuel’s manor soon. I hope you’ll want to talk to me as much as I want to talk to you to catch up on things.
