How’ve you been, my favorite superhero badass?! Nothing less than wonderful, I hope, or we’ll have to have a serious discussion as to why you’re not feeling on top of the world.

So I just Anyways, are you big into parties? I know we’ve talked about drinking together before so it’s clear that you’re into that, but there’s this good old event being thrown at the Nott Manor on the 30th, and I was wondering if you’d like to go with me? As friends, of course. I think it’d be really fun. It’s fancy dress, which cuts me deep because now I’ve got to go through all my things and actually attempt to find some type of fancy clothes, but I’m rolling with it because the entire party is a surprise to cheer Chloe Nott up – and she’s positively lovely, so I wouldn’t ever miss a chance to make her happy.

I'm not hugely into parties, to be honest, but I go to them occasionally. Aw, that's so sweet that Chloe's getting a party to cheer her up! What's happened, do you know? Anyway, I would be honored to go with you! It sounds like it'll be loads of fun. Fancy dress, you say? I think we should both go in suits - get the whole Men In Black thing going on. That's only a suggestion, by the way. I'll wear a dress if you'd prefer!

Dear Pippa,

That’s awesome to hear! I’ve been alright, you know, the usual except not really. And you know it! Can’t wait for you to see that sixth-year is going to be nothing special, it’s just another year of pointless school. Apparently I’m supposed to be getting serious about NEWTs because that’s what seventh-years tend to do when they suddenly start worrying about their futures, but I can’t be bothered.

I’m not too sure – I think her boyfriend broke up with her or something, which is just terrible, really. Okay, great! You didn’t have to say yes but this is perfect. I believe we might actually have to put some extra effort into coming up with costumes because that’s what was meant by ‘fancy dress’ – took me a good half hour to figure that one out – but I’m liking your thought process so far! Any other ideas?

The usual? Care to share at all? Aw, sixth year can't be that bad! I'm looking forward to it, actually. NEWTs are supposed to be rough, yeah? I don't see the point in them - then again, I don't see the point in any standardized testing. I'm not going to need it in my future....

Aw, that's so sad! I don't know Chloe, but everyone seems to adore her. What a jerk off. I didn't have to say yes, but I wanted to. There's a difference, silly. Yeah, I forgot about that, actually. I think we should go as our superbadasshero selves, what say you?
