^^ I'm going by NSW standards here and idk how similar it is in other states but beginning on February to like 21st of December.
Two week holidays every 3 months and for Christmas we get 6 months. So I'm assuming it'd be similar to the Australia wizarding school.

*weeks  six month holiday would be nice! That makes sense, actually, because I was factoring in a two month summer holiday without factoring in the fact that they only have three terms, so three holidays total, whereas we have four, which would bring it up to the same time off anyway. Well, that and because my school ends right at the beginning of December. From what I heard at Melbourne Uni open day, the NSW school year seems similar enough to all of the states that it'd make sense to use that school system. is there a canon australian wizarding institute? if not, do you have any preconception of which state should i imagine it it/closest city to it? /to ellie and bree and all of the admins, though probably mainly ellie and bree as it seems to be ellie's creation and it's definitely bree's country lololol |

A six month holiday and I'd be in heaven! You went to Melbourne Uni open day? Haha, but aren't you like 16? And all the states are super different and confusing but NSW is the accurate one. Also, apparently we have the hardest tests to calculate our ATAR to get into uni so we're smartypants. xP Okay, well... no, haha. I imagine it could be Sydney? Solely because it's the largest state... but then again, Canberra's the capital and stuff... but Melbourne's known for being culturally diverse and accepting. But I think maybe also Western Australia? Because you get the sense it's isolated... it's apparently really hot there. I VOTE SYDNEY THOUGH. But ask Ellie and other admins to double check.  |
