- she hadn't seen her brother in maybe five years, since he went to hogwarts, so she had a bit of a crush on him in her third year when she saw him from afar. she was absolutely and completely disgusted with herself when she realised who it was. she has never told anyone.

- she had an infatuation on one of her teachers that lasted some of her fourth year, all of her fifth, and some of her sixth.

aside from all of that, though, she does have a lighter side. she loves her sister to death and would do anything to protect her. she sometimes wishes she could be a better role model to lotte, but if she really thought about it, if she had a chance to change anything, she wouldn't. she loves her life as it is. she respects her grandparents because they gave her and lotte a roof over their heads and food on their table, but they can't really control her. sian thinks its enough of thanks that she doesn't steal their jewelry and silver.
overall, yes, sian mostly feeds her darker side, the part that craves a good steal or a good payback for revenge, the part that is morbidly curious about dark artifacts and the enchantments on them, the cursed muggles or wizards who have been unfortunate enough to fall prey to them. she would have made a good curse-breaker with all her research. despite all of her shortcomings, she loves her sister and protects her as much as she can, showing that even criminals still have the capacity to love.[/ul]
