JENNY HI. Oh good, somebody writing to me finally. I've been getting so bored at home.
My family's fine, dear. How is yours doing? By the way, I saw your cousin that day, the Gryffindor one? And I don't know if you know, but she looked pretty drunk. Don't know what that's about. Who Grace? She's always a darling.
Didn't get the scratched bit. So how many summer galas have you been to so far?

Oh, nobody's been writing to you either? I was going to ask whether it was safe to owl anyone else from our dorm. Mine's okay. Aggy's loved up with her boyfriend (and seems to want to join a Muggle circus, don't ask) and Aurora's being Aurora. You saw Rina? What? When? Drunk?  I need to talk to her. Yeah, Grace; I'm not stupid enough to ask you about Alice.Not many, thank god. Maybe one or two I guess. If Mum mentions them to me right now I might throw something. Aha, well, I haven't owled Ella yet but I know she got prefect so I need to congratulate her and all (My dad told me, it's easy to know all that). And I haven't talked to Abby, but I know you're itching to ask, so no. Don't go there.
Muggle circus? Er, why? I dunno, I couple of days ago. She was all dressed up, as if she'd been to a party - no not a respectable party, no offense or anything. Like one of those Muggle ones in clubs - and she looked tipsy. Thought I'd tell you, anyway. Weren't you best friends some hundred years ago or something?
Oh, I thought you were asking about Alice, who also got made prefect. Perfect prefect.
