Dear boy, I feel terrible that it's been so long since we saw you - I can hardly believe you're an adult now, it seems like yesterday that you were just a little boy. You must come over for dinner some time - your aunt would be delighted to see you, and so would I.

Your mother and your cousin Jethro keep me up to date with most of what goes on in your life, but of course it's not the same as seeing you for ourselves. I trust that your final year at school and your NEWTs all went well; your mother says that your grades have always been good. And I hear that you've started your own business - you must tell us all about that.

Perhaps you could come over some time when Letty is going to be here. I'm sure you'd like to see her, and she you. Hope to see you soon anyway.

Thank you, I think. Yes, I'd love to come over for dinner - I'll work out a day that suits both my mother and father as well.

Of course, gotta love Jethro. He knows everything that's happening around me. Yes, final year and NEWTs went well, I know better than to disappoint family. Yes, I've also started my own potions business in Hogsmeade - it's a good way to use my expertise in potions and has another, perhaps more useful, purpose as well, as I will be offering to tutor some of the students at Hogwarts.

That sounds brilliant, Uncle. Perhaps we should organize it that all of us can have a little reunion this holiday?

Oh, he does? He only lets the odd bit of news slip to be quite honest. I should ask him more often if you keep in such close contact with him. He is good at knowing what's going on in general though, I have to say. It's very useful to have him around; I can keep up on all the gossip!

That's very good news, and it sounds like an interesting venture. I shall be interesting to know how it succeeds. I may even have the odd client I can send your way - I shall have to see.

A very good idea, my boy. Niall and Nevin are planning on a visit quite soon too, and it must be a very long time since you saw them. I shall find out when they're coming and let you know, so that if you'd like to see them, you can drop in at the same time. It will be lovely to have you all in the same place for once.

Yeah, that sounds like Jethro. Responsible for the greater part of the pureblood grapevine, I'm sure. He's proved time and again over the past years that he knows a lot of things I didn't know he knows. It's rather disconcerting because it makes me wonder how much work he really does at the Ministry and how much time he spends gossip-mongering.

Thank you, Uncle. I wasn't too sure what the family reaction would be, but I'm glad that you'd be willing to send a couple of people you know and help me along with the business. I've named it Cerridwen's, after the enchantress.

I haven't seen a lot of the family in a while, so a family reunion would be great, Uncle. Just send an owl when you can organise a date.
