I know its probably a circus at the Manor with your walking out; I've safely avoided walking in there for the past week or so.

Of course I'm safe. You could just have asked Seb? I was at your house the other day, but he was the only one in. I think I got him out of bed (at 3pm).
To be honest, I think Ella was the only one who actually gave a shit cared. And I haven't even heard from her, so I couldn't tell you what it's like at the Manor. Dad wrote (I know, I was amazed as well) and seemed to think I was keeping it a big secret from him where I was staying, so I didn't tell him.
Again, you could have asked Seb, though on second thoughts, he probably hasn't a clue what I'm doing either. I'm living with Teddy, and he got me a job for summer at Ollivander's, which is pretty boring, but it means I can pay him some rent. So nothing very exciting I'm afraid.
Hope you and Uncle Theo are okay.

Scor, don't talk to be about Seb; I'm not going to forgive him at all. You visited? You could have tried waking us, Scor! You needn't have tried your luck with Seb; its risky.
They all do care, Scor; they just... don't show it. Draco and his assumptions can go for a ... rather, you mean they have no idea where you're right now? That's... good, in a way I guess. But how long do you think you're going to hide from them?
You'll find your way, Scor, I'm sure; very sure. Teddy? Teddy Lupin? He's your cousin by some relation, if I'm not wrong? Do give him my regards.

Forgive him? What's he done? You weren't asleep - at least as far as I know you weren't. Are you usually asleep at 3pm? I'm pretty sure you weren't in. And actually, I think I came out the winner with Seb. Sorry about all the water on his bedsheets though.
I'm not hiding from them - it's not a secret where I am. I only haven't told Dad because he made such a bit deal out of it and it was funny. Ella and Damien know where I am - the rest of them haven't asked. Though Ella's decided she's going to be pissed off with me for leaving.
Yes, Teddy's my cousin - at least, his mum was Dad's cousin. We get on pretty well - he's a decent guy.
I'm fine - honestly. Stop worrying about me.

Well, the better question would be what he hasn't done; which would be nothing. Let's not talk about that kid of mine. I was home that day, Scor; I'd taken the afternoon off to shop. Theo might have been around too; I'm not too sure since I fell asleep reading. So it wasn't him that made that mess? Its perfectly fine, Scor; I'm sure you had Seb's well being in mind.
Draco makes a big deal out of everything; starting from a scratch on his elbow. She'll come about soon enough; she loves you too much not to.
That's good, then.
Well, tell me than in another decade and maybe I'll heed your advice then. I'm afraid I'm proving Theo right and turning into a worry wort. Just take care of yourself.

Wait, you were in? Well, we made enough noise, I'm surprised we didn't wake you. I didn't see anyone except Seb. And no, that was me I'm afraid. I woke him up by pouring cold water on him. He wasn't very happy with me. But of course, I was only doing it to help him out.
Yeah well, they can all carry on making a big deal out of it by themselves. I'm done with chasing after them. I wish Ella They're acting like I ran away and cut myself off from the whole family, which I didn't. All I did was move out - if I'd done it next year, after I left school, nobody would have thought it was strange. I just did it a year early, that's all.
It's okay. You're the only one in the family who worries about me, so I am taking care of myself. Rox even makes me eat more than sandwiches.

Yes I was; the room is soundproofed, Scor. I thought you knew that? All I saw when I woke up was a trail of disaster with Seb's room being the origin. Of course you were doing it to help him; I've given up on trying to make him wake up before noon; nothing, and I mean it when I say, nothing works.
There's nothing wrong with what you did, Scor. Especially with the family such as you have, I'm surprised you lasted this long You're just planting your feet in the real world a years early; that's nothing out of the ordinary. Its actually a good sign of your responsibility; something Draco desperately needs to learn

No, I didn't know that. And pouring a lot of cold water on him works, although it's a good idea to steal his wand first, because he tends to attack when you wake him up.
I know there's not - that's what I keep trying to tell everyone. Though I think Dad probably thinks I'm living in some squatter's dive with a bunch of druggies or something. His fault for not taking an interest sooner.
Yes, she is lovely, though she's not completely taking care of me, you know. Wait, when did you meet her?

You couldn't possibly be a worse relative than he is - when was the last time he contacted you? You should threaten to go public with the secrets thing though.
Yeah, they're proper enough. And she didn't tell me that - you'd better not have told her embarrassing stories from when I was little or anything.

Ah, Scorpius; you know how it is, right? Your father.. let's say we don't meet eye to eye and I tell him things; uncomfortable things that he doesn't want to hear. No doubt he refrains from ever seeing me. Oh, that wouldn't help much; he's insensitive enough to think of it as publicity, the dolt.
Embarrassing things, now that's a thought, Scorpius! Why didn't I think of it before? Rest easy; I told nothing I shouldn't have.
