So can you pretty please not put me with people like that Slytherin girl in your year, or Damien Malfoy, or that girl Louis's really good friends with? Actually, the others are probably all fine. I don't know who there is from my year, but I don't mind any of them. Just... please?

I bet they're really really proud, don't be silly! James sounded proud when I talked to him, and that's James. Ignore Uncle George - he doesn't mean to be rude! Apparently he took the piss teased Dad about it when he was a Prefect, but Dad said he didn't care because he got to wander round with Mum, even though he kept claiming he didn't fancy her.

New friends are always good! Stop being scared! The teachers wouldn't pick anyone truly awful to be Prefect, and you know it!

I'm not sure she's the type to get distracted. I bet she just marks books all Summer...

Nad? Is that like rad, only not as cool? I saw them snogging in the corridors once. It was revolting. Do you think they'll stay together? James is a funny sort of boyfriend, isn't he? I don't think I'd like being his girlfriend. Wait, that came out wrong, OBVIOUSLY he's my brother, so that would be HORRIBLE and GROSS, but I mean I wouldn't want a boyfriend like him, who didn't take any notice of me apart from on the Quidditch pitch.

Well, you know them and I don't - are they nice underneath? That Pritchard girl (I remembered her name!) gave poor Lee a ton of detentions last term, and Lee is just about the least badly behaved person you could meet, and that includes me!

Lots of people have cats, it doesn't mean they're anti social. Anyway, I can think of worse lives. I expect I'll be a cat lady when I'm older too.

Yes, I turned round and walked the other way. I don't know, I don't think I want to imagine James being sappy, it's kind of horrible really. I hope they stay together - I like Cass. He could have picked someone really horrible, so I'm glad he didn't.

And that's not true! You could have lots of friends and just not live with them, and how come having cats stops you having a boyfriend? I don't want a boyfriend who doesn't like cats! In fact, I don't think living alone with lots of cats sounds that bad. I think I'd quite like it.

See, the thing is, I think they would, because I think they trust me, but I'm not sure what would happen. I invited Shelly to stay with me for a bit anyway, because she doesn't have a very nice time at home, but if she knew she was coming to a party, she'd bring alcohol and stuff.

No it doesn't, cats hardly smell at all! Dogs smell, but most cats are really clean. I mean, if you try and keep them inside with a litter tray they'd smell, but that would be the tray, not the cats. And I wouldn't want indoor cats. And I didn't say I wanted like a houseful of cats. Maybe two or three though.

Shelly wouldn't listen to me. But not telling her's a good idea!

No I won't, the children will love me, I'll invite them all in to play with the kittens. Also, you used the wrong kind of 'your', I just thought you'd like to know. :-P

I suppose it's not a bad thing. I just don't really understand why you'd want to kiss someone, but not go out with them? I don't know, I suppose I'm just weird. I had this conversation with Abby too, after she kissed Bronson. Maybe this is why nobody wants to kiss me.
