ricky, seventeen, bicurious, sixth year, gryffindor
presenting to you erica faith jordan, oldest daughter of lee and libby jordan and a bit of a force to be reckoned with. ricky is loud, outgoing and over the top, and probably quite intimidating to people who don't know her or can't deal with that. she's endlessly inappropriate and knows few boundaries, and she breaks rules right, left and centre. she loves to shock people, and if you're her friend, you'd best be prepared for her to come onto you, whether as a joke or seriously (and really, with ricky, the lines between joke and serious are quite thin); she thinks all her friends are hot as hell, and while she's mostly straight, she wouldn't say no to some experimentation. she's just going into her sixth year, but she ought to be the year above; she got held back a year due to illness.
in terms of enemies, well she's loud and outspoken and says exactly what she things, so she could have made some enemies that way. ricky says what's on her mind, nice and appropriate or not, and she has quite a temper, but she tends to get over anger very quickly, so she'll tell you what she thinks of you and then expect to be friends again five minutes later; people who can't cope with that might not get on with her so well. enemies of her friends will probably be her enemies too; she's fiercely loyal.
as for lovers, ricky technically lost her virginity with lorcan scamander in the summer, but she's done a lot of messing around in other ways in the past, and she's always up for more, so ex or current snog partners, flings and/or friends with benefits are all welcome. she's not looking to settle down, but she is looking for more fun.

seth, eighteen, straight, theatre technician, ex-gryffindor
seth wishart is a muggle born who graduated from hogwarts last year. he comes from a well off background; his mother is actually the daughter of a norfolk baronet (a minor member of the aristocracy) who married his playwright father against her family's wishes, although they've come to terms with it. his father is now a well known muggle playright and theatre director, and seth grew up in theatre circles, although he himself is more of a musician. he plays several instruments, and his ambition is to be a professional, though he's currently got a job in his father's theatre, working as a technician. he's a fun-loving ex-gryffindor party boy with an unfortunately low tolerence for alcohol, so he's the one you'll find dancing on the tables an hour into the night. he's inherently lazy except about things he cares about, which he will slave at, and he's a charmer who can nonetheless turn awkward, especially around girls he likes.
he'd have a pretty wide circle of friends, i should think, as he's quite outgoing, as well as more than a few party buddies. as for enemies, i can't imagine him having that many, but i suppose he could have got off on the wrong foot with some people, and as a muggle born, he wouldn't get on with any of your pureblood supremecists.
he's currently in a complicated situation with rose weasley, and has fallen pretty hard for her, so he's not available for current romances. past stuff is always a possibility - past girlfriends, flirts or snogs is fine, though he'd only had sex with one girl before rose, and that didn't go too well.

kaius, fifty one, straight, business owner, anglesey publishing ltd.
everyone knows the name anglesey. wealthy, traditional purebloods, they tend to stick to the old ways, although they were never specifically allied with voldemort. kaius is the youngest of three brothers; the eldest is dead, so he and his sole surviving brother, julius, run their publishing business together. he's a family man, very loyal and loving to his family, although also a strict father and uncle with high expectations of the younger members of his family. he comes across as a bumbling old fool, who is mostly preoccupied with his dogs and his roses and always forgets to wipe his shoes when he comes into the house, but this facade hides a razor sharp and often ruthless mind, and there's not a lot that kaius misses.
his friends would mostly - in fact, entirely - be other traditional purebloods and those who agree with his political views. he's picky about who he associates with, and doesn't choose to spend much time in society, preferring to stay in his large country house with his wife, and whichever other family members are around, so he's not likely to have random acquaintances, although business associates are always possible.
enemies are probably plentiful - kaius doesn't shout his views from the rooftops, but he doesn't make a huge secret of them either, so i would imagine a lot of people would dislike him and everything he stands for. anyone who harms his family will also class as an enemy, and be warned; kaius is utterly ruthless in his dealings with people who offend him, and he has more people who work for him than you'd think.
he's a happily married man with two adult daughters, so current lovers are out of the picture, unless anyone wants to play his wife (who was layella hunter before she married, sister of jethro hunter's father and kaycee o'malley's mother). however, he had something of a wild youth, so past flings and girlfriends are possible, if anyone has a woman of similar age to him.

allie, fifteen, straight, fifth year, hufflepuff
this lovely lassie is araceli vega, known as allie, younger sister of cris vega. she is perhaps a stereotypical hufflepuff; loyal, loving, stubborn to a fault, and a hard worker although not particularly high flying, academics-wise. music is what she's good at, like her brother; allie loves to sing, and is into (british) folk songs, knitted things, chunky jewellery and zombie movies. she has quite extreme moods; she can be hyperactive and bouncing off the walls, but sometimes also has low moods, which she can't really explain and doesn't really share with anyone; when she's sad, she'll go off by herself until she feels better. if she gets an idea fixed in her head, it's hard to shift it, and she tends to romaticise things and then get angry when they don't work out the way she planned.
she'd love some friends, since she's a friendly girl, especially people she can share her silliness with and not worry about dignity - her best friends will probably be people who are happy to pretend to be zombies in the common room. she's very close with her brother, and tends to assume that his friends are hers as well.
surprisingly, she could also have some enemies, since she's so stubborn, and also a bit judgemental; she makes up her mind about people very quickly, and if she doesn't like them, it'll take a lot to change her mind.
she's never had a boyfriend and isn't all that interested in having one either, as she's still a little girl at heart, and is more likely to have an unrealistic crush on a celebrity or fictional character than a real boy she'd stand a chance with. i'd be happy to have her meet someone who changes her mind though...

lexie, twenty eight, straight, book dealer, ex-ravenclaw
this newest lady is calixta fleming, known as lexie, age 28, ex-ravenclaw. she's the older sister of ian fleming and step sister of honor knightley, and she has a bit of a tumultous history. after her parents split, she got into alcohol, drugs and sex in a big way, a downward spiral that culminated in her being raped whilst drunk at a party, and a subsequent suicide attempt. it took a long time for her to recover, and although she spoke out about her rape and identified her attacker, nobody has been convicted. these days, her experience adds to her strength. she still enjoys a good party (though she no longer touches drugs) but at 28, she has her head screwed on and her life on track. she's very determined and independent, and believes that nothing is done well unless she does it herself. she adores books and literature, and has a degree from a muggle university (after failing most of her newts) and is very happy in her job as a second hand book dealer for flourish and blotts.
she needs some friends of around her own age - either from hogwarts or people she's met since then. she could have friends of any type really - she can be a bit of a party girl even now, so she might have some drinking/party buddies, but then she also has a more serious side, so anything goes really.
in terms of enemies, she was a bit of a wild thing at school, and if she didn't like someone she'd let them know it, so there might be people she doesn't get on with from those days, or who don't like her controlling side.
romance-wise, she's had a couple of serious relationships since school, and enjoys a good flirt or even a light hearted fling at times. she's not in a relationship at the moment, so she's available for that sort of thing - at some point i will be looking for a relationship for her, but only if the right person turns up...

RICKY&KAYCEE - I think we agreed that these two were flirts before? She's probably a bit more out there than he's comfortable with, and a bit 'young' for Kaycee because the man has scruples, so. xP
SETH&KAYCEE - Kayce probs doesn't know yet about Seth and Rose, but when / if he does, Kayce would probably be a bit cool towards him (but not all fiery jelly, because Kaycee O'Malley does not get jelly). ^^
SETH&BRIANNA - Previously party buddies? She can be his first, if you'd like, although he won't be her first, but maybe she had expectations and was let down by a virgin (sad and mean as it sounds)?
KAIUS&KAYCEE - To be perfectly honest, Kaycee is a bit scared of his uncle because he's so entrenched in the old ways and Kaycee is all modern and WHO CARES ABOUT BLOOD PURITY - EVERYONE CARE ABOUT SEXUAL CAPABILITY xP Probably distant?

Nanii! You came back!  Lol, Ricky would flirt with Kaycee, although she also loves Rose, so maybe not so much any more. Though if she met him now, she'd probably think it had been long enough for him to be fair game, though she might have to check that out with Rose next time she sees her. And to be fair, she's a bit too out there for most people, but hon, you know she's the same age as Rose, right? She might even be older, I'm not sure when Rose's birthday is. She's only in sixth year because she missed a year while she was ill. Seth would have felt bad at first, because Rose and Kaycee hadn't been over that long when he and Rose started whatever it is they've got going on, but like Ricky, he'd probably think it was okay now. And anyway, all concerns about the whole thing seem to go out of the window when he's actually with her. He'd feel quite awkward if he ever met Kaycee though... I'm not too sure what's going to happen with Seth and Rose to be quite honest. Party buddies sounds good for Bri and Seth, though for the thing with the girl he slept with, the way I made the story, it would have been her first time as well, so maybe not that? Sorry hon, but he'd definitely have flirted like mad with her! Kaius plans on taking Kaycee in hand now that he's finished at school. He's not at all pleased with this ridiculous potions idea. I don't think many people aside from her closest friends would really have seen her in a low mood to be honest - she tends to hide away from people. And she'll laugh and throw things at him if he flirts with her. They could have quite a hilarious relationship...  |

Nothing's happened with Rose since you went on your wee hiatus thing, really - though she has just written to Kaycee (dundunduh). Erm... yeah, your turn! ;-) As for the rest of them, well, I guess we've kinda already got that established? Rose is friends with Ricky; and Noelle doesn't get on too well with Kaius. Oh! James and Ricky could have had a bit of a flirty past, if you like? And he's Seth's year and they were alright friends, weren't they? LOL I think he'll flirt with her, but only a little because he's a bit uncomfortable with a girl grabbing his junk. I mean, he probably won't mind groping, but he feels its more the guy's job xP And oh yeah! But he's stuck in the mindset that she's two years below him, though not necessarily in age xP
Kaycee would probably just regard him coolly, but not really make an attempt to belittle him or make any moves that he'll try to steal Rosie because he never wants anyone to see exactly how much Rosie had unseated him because that might make him seem to have a heart and that's rather humiliating for him xP

Gina! I don't think I have anything major to add from what we established already, so I'll just run over them quickly... Jo/Ricky: Casual/good friends Lily/Ricky: Casual friends/acquaintances. I mean, they're old family friends, but I think Lily would find Ricky kind of scary... lol. Louis/Ricky: Casual friends/acquaintances. Again, family associations, and Louis would probably flirt a bit with her, and joke around and stuff, but secretly find her terrifying... lol. Addison/Ricky: Adding this one in. Addison's a year below and two years younger, but they're the same house so they might know each other? Addison would admire Ricky's dgaf attitude, but disapprove of her slutty behaviour, haha. Angelina/Ricky: Ang thinks Ricky's pretty awesome ngl. She doesn't entirely trust her influence on Roxanne lolol, but at the same time, she adores Ricky and thinks her heart's in completely the right place, and will defend Ricky from overprotective fathers... Angus/Seth: I can't remember what we said, but good buddies? Angus likes a good party, but is almost the opposite of Seth, haha, in that he doesn't go wild and actually has a high tolerance for alcohol, so he's usually the sober one who looks after everyone else... Jo/Seth: Jo is one of Rose's best friends and thinks Seth's a nice enough guy... that's about all there is to it, lol. Jethro/Kaius: Nephew/uncle. Jethro's fond of Kaius and has a lot of respect for him, but also knows pretty much what he's capable of and wouldn't underestimate him (unlike a lot of people?). He's pretty faithful at reporting interesting information back to his uncle, although there are some things he holds back (most notably, Saoirse)... Dennis/Kaius: I doubt if they've ever met face to face, but safe to say that Dennis knows who Kaius is and doesn't like him, being both a Muggle born and a Senior Auror (and knowing who Kaius' friends are)... Lily/Allie: I think we said these two were good friends? Didn't they bond over Lily helping Allie out with her homework or something? Addison/Allie: Another new one - I think these two could get on really well actually. Addison might think Allie was a bit childish at times, but she'd still really like her. And... I think that's all I've got, lol. |

Riss!A thread soon sounds great, hon, but like I say, Ricky simply won't accept help at all. She'll laugh at the thought of it. Call her weird, but she's not nervous in the least, haha. And I don't really know who her sights are set on, that's her difficulty - because what she doesn't want to do is sleep with some guy who'd only see her as a conquest... Well, Seth's working in the Muggle world for now - he's got a job as a theatre technician through his dad's contacts, and is working on his music in the meantime. Maybe an owl thread? Or they could go for drinks some time? Or... I don't know, this is just a suggestion, but I think Seth's probably looking to move out of his parents' house - they could get a place together even? Well, Kaius is an old charmer, but I'm not sure that as a boss, he'd be the type you'd be fond of, except in a very wary way. He'd be a really demanding boss... The longer she has to wait, the angrier she's getting, and Allie is STUBBORN. Cris is going to have some crawling to do, haha. CASSIE!HEY HON! Great to see you! Ahhhh ok, well if you're good to pick up sort of where they left off then that's fine with me, but it's your call. Seth is fully aware that he fancies the pants off her, but he's trying to convince himself that he can deal with the fact that she probably doesn't feel the same way, and still snog her face off every now and again without getting hurt. The boy's an idiot. And if he knew she was writing to Kaycee, he'd pretend to be completely cool with it, and offer to back off and stuff, whilst quietly bleeding inside... Yep, sounds good! :-) Haha, flirting with James and Ricky sounds great, though strictly in the past, since Ricky thinks Cassie is the shit and would never do that to her except in the jokiest way possible. And yeah, good friends for Seth and James - Seth's close with Roland, and I think we talked about the three of them having a pretty good friendship, right? NANII!WOOHOO! Ahh oh god, Ricky is terrible because she actually would grab his junk and would call him an old-fashioned fuddy-duddy chauvinist if he tried to say if was the guy's job to do the grabbing. And she'd do it even more, just to make him uncomfortable, especially if she knew he thought of her as younger than she is, because that would offend her.  Well, Seth and Rose aren't technically in a relationship I don't think, so Seth is uncomfortably aware that there's nothing really to steal, and he has no hold on Rose. The way things are at the moment, he'd back off rather than fight for her, but he'll be burning up with jealousy if he hears that Rose and Kaycee are writing to each other. Previous flirts and snogs sounds great, hon! :-) And he thinks she's lovely, but is completely oblivious to what happened to her, so would be puzzled why she was being distant. If they're good friends though, he might be a little protective over her these days... Uncle Kaius is going to write to Kaycee. Well, Allie will certainly be a challenge, haha. She'll just be like "Please, you're nowhere near as cute as Leon from the Fifth Horsemen..." BECCA!All this sounds great! And yeah, I think Addison and Ricky could be kind of friendly - Ricky generally likes people unless she has a reason not to, and she'd have nothing against Addison, and would think she was pretty cool for her independence and stuff. :-) Again, agreed. Seth needs the kind of friend who will eventually haul him off the table and take him to bed... Yep, haha. Kaius relies on Jethro quite a lot, though he doesn't kid himself that Jethro tells him absolutely everything. He basically sees him as his eyes and ears out in the world though - it saves him actually having to go out and do things himself... He'll be pretty angry if he finds about about Saoirse though... Is it ok if Kaius writes to Jethro some time soon? I actually love the Lily/Allie friendship! And Allie/Addison sounds like it could be good too! I saw you say you were pretty overwhelmed with threads right now, but some time when you're not, would you like to thread either/both?

Hi Soph! Sorry, I forgot to check this thread - I fail, lol. Anyway, yes, Ricky and Lee seriously do. Ricky doesn't really hold grudges, so she's already forgiven him, so long as he's sensible about things. What would he think of her plans to leave school though? And Ricky... I don't know if she's actually bicurious. She's curious as to what it would be like to snog a girl, so I suppose that means she is haha. But she's never been seriously attracted to a girl or anything - she just likes hot people. Shallow Ricky is shallow. She'd definitely be up for a drunken snog though, lol. |

Hey Celeste, great to meet you and sorry I disappeared from the chatbox yesterday!
Anyway, I kind of like your idea for her and Seth, though I hadn't imagined her that young - she'd have been what, fourteen? Though maybe he was really drunk and actually didn't realise (or totally forgot) she was only fourteen. It could be one of the reasons he's really uncomfortable about it and regrets it. I quite like the idea of some future angst/conflict there if they ever meet again...
And Ricky and Ness would definitely get along, I think! Ricky's a couple of years older, so she'd think of Ness as a bit of a kid, but still really like her and think she's awesome. Maybe try and look after her a bit in a casual big sister way - Ricky's not exactly motherly, but she does look out for the people she cares about.

Yes, I think there could be some really interesting emotions/angsty-ness whenever they interact. I also feel like they would have very different opinions/emotions about what happened and that would be interesting as well, if he completely and totally hates himself for what happened and ... well, I'm not quite sure yet how she'd feel but I think there'd be a difference of thoughts there. Ness would get onto her for treating her as a kid but in a loving sort of way. I definitely think they'd have a fun little sister/big sister dynamic in that sort of way! I really like this idea for Ness and Seth! Because he's the kind of guy who does do really stupid things when drunk and then regrets them afterwards. I think he'd be trying to pretend it had never happened and telling himself it wasn't his fault, even though he kind of knows it was. I think he'd be quite sick with himself actually, because by British law he's over the legal age of consent and she's not... He also thinks, by the way, that because it was his first time too, that he was really shit and hurt her and stuff, and that she didn't have a good time at all...
