Dear Other Half of Our Yet-to-be-Named Superhero Duo,

Hey hey hey! I'm making the assumption that this letter will get to you okay and won't get lost in your dormitory somewhere - I've heard that the school's owls are really unreliable when it comes to delivering stuff to the Slytherin tower. I don't blame them, it's a pretty shady place. Besides, no one in your house in their right mind would ever give me your common room's password, so I had to compromise.

Just writing to say that I'm sure you did well on your exams even though exams don't really matter, so don't worry about that, and also to ask what you'll be doing for the next two months... We should definitely hang out sometime! The world certainly needs more badassery to entertain them, and who better to give them that other than us two? Plus, I'm sure you have tons of interesting stories to let me in on. You always do. Except for the odd time that you decide to keep them a secret just for fun.

I would have given you our password, you ninny. As you can see, the owl made it here perfectly fine. Actually, all I know for sure is that she made it here. I'm not aware of her journey, nor is she particularly talkative. It shall forever remain a mystery!

I'm not so sure I did so well, but at least someone has faith in me!! Too bad there's no music or superhero lesson... Oh my god, did you just Yeah! Definitely! That sounds like so much fun! I mean, I have to practice singing and playing piano, and I'll probably going to a few local concerts that my dad plays at... if you're into that, maybe we could go? Would you actually have? That's brilliant, you can expect that the first thing I'll ask you at the start of next term in September will be the password for the good old Slytherin common room. That could seriously come in handy for certain situations. The owl and you have tons in common then, I see - you're always going on about how mysterious you are, too.

Please, I'm sure you did fine - even if you didn't do fine that's still a lot better than how I did. That sounds awesome to me! I've never been to an actual concert before, you'll have to teach me all the basics so I don't look like too much of a wanker in front of everyone else that'll be there. (Side note: who else will be there?) Oh, and don't forget that you said that you might sing me a song sometime! The tattoo parlour sounds cool as well - are you planning on getting one?

How do you know you did so terribly? I say, when we get our results in the holidays, we open them together over ice cream or firewhisky or whatever you fancy. Then we can tell each other how wrong the other one was!
