How are you, sweetie? I'm sorry I haven't written in a while - I've just been so busy with work and all. I've actually just finished writing to everyone else - Brigid invited me to go to a concert with Tommy and his band, and Pat's been a darling as usual, asking me to give his love to everyone - and I saved your letter for last since I think it's going to be longest.
Anyway. How were exams? Anything go particularly well or awfully? Have you met anyone interesting or done anything fun? (I'm sorry these are such boring questions, but I feel like I've been a terrible big sister and haven't talked to you about anything important in a while, so, sorry).
I've filled out at least thirty prescriptions for frightening old women and am a little scared that I'll never see someone my age again. Unless I go to that concert that Brigid invited me to, but that will probably be very noisy and rowdy, and I'm really just going to support Tommy's band and all. Oh, wow, that makes me sound like an old lady, doesn't it? And look at how much I'm rambling, sorry!
Moving along - I saw some really lovely dresses in Madam Malkin's window the other day. I took some pictures, since I did quite like them. Of course, they are far too expensive and a bit too fancy for an Apprentice Apothecary like myself, but I thought you might be interested in seeing them.
I'm trying to think if I've forgotten anything, but I'm pretty sure I have nothing at all left to ramble about. So I'm going to end this letter before my hand cramps up and say
Write back soon (and also, lots of love),
Cara
