Dear Mum,
I think you'll be pleased to hear that I've only destroyed three caldrons this year. It's an improvement- last year I was able to melt five, right? Anyways, school is going well. Herbology is really exciting and we're covering more advanced topics! Exams are coming up and I'm a bit nervous for them.
I can't wait for summer, although I'll miss Hogwarts. Are we going anywhere this summer?
Tell everyone I say hi!
Love from Hugo x

Hugo,
Bout time you've written. Now, is your sister still alive?
How are you, baby? Aside from the cauldrons. And three is very good. You know how I hate buying duplicates - even if we have the money it's a waste to use it just because we can, which by the way ask your sister if she found her missing jumper.
Herbology, huh. Neville Professor Longbottom must be amazing at his job, then. Make sure you give him my love next time you speak with him, too. And exams are approaching. You're not over doing it on the studying, are you? Remember to breath, and if you need help ask your sister, or Roxie. Don't ask Fred or James. They're busy with NEWTS and will probably give you the wrong type of help to begin with.
Well, our trip to Gran Grangers is still in order and I was thinking of taking a bit of a holiday to perhaps head to the states. Lily went last year with Teddy and enjoyed it. What say you? Of course your father and sister must agree too.
I shall, love.
Love, Mum
PS: Make sure to get plenty of rest and a good meal in before exams, okay.

Mum,
I'm good, and you? I know, I know. I'm trying my best not to melt them/destroy them, and plus, I learn from my failures. Even though it's not the best way of learning, at least it sticks! I'll ask her, I promise.
Professor Longbottom is one of the best professor, in my opinion. His classes are really interesting and I think I'll do well on my Herbology exam again! Would half an hour per subject per night be overdoing it? I promise I won't ask James or Fred or Louis or anyone studying for NEWTS or OWLs for help.
Do we have to?The States? Please, please, please? I'm off to convince Rosie- I want to see Los Angeles and where all of those Muggle television shows are produced!
Thanks, you're the best!
Love from Hugo
PS: Okay!
