[/i] Sitting up, Murphy tossed some of her long black tresses out of her ever changing eyes (which were currently a deep sapphire) and slipped out of bed. She glanced over at the mirror on the wall and nearly cried in frusteration. The only thing she could see was the room itself. She was invisible. She would never be able to see what she looked like ever again. Although she wasn't really a vain person, it would've been nice if vampires didn't have to be invisible to a damn mirror.

Slipping on some of her black flip-flops. Murphy walked down to the Slytherin Commons Room and nearly collided with a third year who was giggling like a moron. Narrowing her eyes, she pushed him out of the way and muttered, "Watch where your going." She couldn't help but let a little of her fangs show, she loved it when they coward back in fear. But this girl was giggling too hard to notice, which started to piss her off. What the hell is her problem? she thought, but then smirked and decided to find out. After all, she could read minds. She looked at the girl intently for a moment, and then started to read the girls mind.

She was dissappointed when she found out that the girl was just laughing about some joke her friend had pulled off. Sighing, she continued to stroll through the Common Room, bored out of her freaking mind. And then she noticed a group of guys huddled in a corner, whispering something inaduible. Curious, Murphy stopped and stared intently at the one boy who was talking. He said something about the prefects bathroom, and then my oh my, he blurted out the password. A mischevious grin spread across Murphy's pale features. Aha, finally, something interesting for a change. Brushing past the huddled group, Murphy sauntered out of the Commons Room and headed for the prefects bathroom, hoping no one else would be there.

Just as she approached the door she saw a guy go inside it. Frowning, Murphy waited for a couple moments, wondering what to do, before shrugging carelessly. She wasn't about to let a guy ruin her chance to check out the prefects bathroom. She wanted to know if the rumors were true about it, if it really was that great as the prefects said it was. After looking around her surroundings and making sure no one was around, Murphy snuck up to the door and entered the prefects bathroom for the first time, hoping the guy she had just recently seen wasn't stripped naked or anything.

But as she walked in and looked around, she saw no one. Weird, Murphy thought, continuing to walk around. It was pretty cool, and it was definitely something compared to the regular bathrooms. Plus the over-sized bath tub looked like a mini swimming pool. This is pretty sweet, Murphy thought, stopping in front of the huge bath tub. Hmmm...well no one seemed to be around, so why not dive in? Glancing down at her clothes, Murphy frowned. She had on her favorite black tank top and jean shorts. She didn't want to ruin them. Well if no ones here... Slipping off her black tank top and shorts and letting them drop to the floor, Murphy smirked and dove into the water, her long black hair glistening like a mermaids. She then broke through the surface and looked around. "Very refreshing," she murmured to herself, not yet having seen the mystery boy beneath the waters.[/quote][/ul]

Admin Comments: hey, love! please don't be intimidated by the pending. there's just a few things that need to be changed in your application.

1) we aren't currently accepting purebloods, unless they're on the canon list. we have a list of character limits, which was linked right on the application thread for people to take a look at before creating a character.

2) her name. we don't really like to have repeating names, and becky (well, rebecca) is already taken. if the person who plays becky is okay with sharing the name, then you can leave it. but please note that you may have to change it.

3) just to clear up any confusion (which may only be on my end), a veela is a creature - not a human. so, your character would only be quarter-veela.

4) this will probably the biggest annoyance to you, but... it's sort of impossible that her parents were killed by death eaters. they aren't exactly around right now, in the plot. well, they ARE, but they haven't murdered anyone yet; they're lying low and plotting things.

Aww, bummer! =( I understand that you don't want repeating names, that's totally fine, but I wouldn't change anything about Becky for the world. She is a very beloved character - I made her years ago and have been rping with her for so long. If I changed her name it would just be too strange. I could probably change her history, though, by her parents being killed by someone or something else...and would it be possible for her to be half-veela? Fleur was in the books, I believe. ^^

If she were half-veela, that means her mother would have to be a veela, not a human. Also, Fleur was only a quarter because i know her children are 1/8 veela. I don't have a problem with your character being half-veela, but it's up to you because her mother would have to be a veela.
