How are you doing, sweetheart? I haven't heard from you in a bit. We're all doing okay - a bit short of sleep, but we'll live! Robbie's doing well - I'm pretty sure I saw him smile yesterday, but your mum says he's too young and it was probably just wind. She said the same thing when I thought you and Lachie were smiling too - anyone would think she didn't want her children to smile! Admittedly, the first time it happened with Lach, he was only two weeks old, but I didn't know anything about babies then.

How's school going? Not getting too stressed about OWLs, are you? You'll do great, I know you will. How's Danni? And your other friends? I won't ask if you've seen anything of your brother...

Dad -

I've been okay, just busy - apparently OWL year means that there's twice as much work as there was this time last year, and it took a while to adjust to being back at school after the break. Sorry I haven't written in a while, but I'm glad you three are doing well. I miss you.

He's so cute! Give him a hug from me, please, Dad! I bet he was smiling, though I know next to nothing about babies and just want to think that he's happy.

How are you? Besides Robbie, I mean, though feel free to continue telling me all the things he does and send pictures. I don't know about Lachlan, but I feel bad that we're going to miss most of his early years.

I'm trying not to stress too much about school - Danni's taken to dragging me out of the library once it gets too late, so I'm still getting some sleep. Thanks for your encouragement, though. Danni's good, same with Karina and Dante - I don't know about everyone else, they're all pretty caught up with stuff. Haven't seen Lachlan at all.
