Looks like he regrets it. Did he know you were going out with Abby? Didn't you send a letter to the family? I don't want you to go back either, because nobody should hurt you like that. But then again, I've been in a state where everyone thinks I did the breaking up for a horrible reason without knowing the whole story. Have you tried talking to her, after all the initial shock and anger is gone, figure out what happened without getting pissed at everything she said even though you had full right to?
