Olivia M. Locke

Olivia grew up in basically a single parent household. Her father traveled for work and was never really around. Her happiest moments were when both her parents were home with her. Her mother raised her with the 'pureblood elitist way' sort of life, so even though she is a halfblood, she still acts as if she were the purest blooded witch at Hogwarts.

The friends:
Olivia is loyal to her friends. She is charming and interesting towards people she deems worthy enough to be considered a friend. She loves her house and most of the students who were lucky enough to be sorted into Slytherin.

The romances:
Olivia has been known to get around with the boys. She is flirty and loves getting her way. She isn't one to keep her feelings to herself for long, and she will tell someone flat out that she fancies them. She is always looking for some fun, but she'd settle down if she found a guy that treats her well.

The enemies:
Olivia's personality is a bit blunt. She has made a few rivals her years at Hogwarts just because she'll say exactly what's on her mind with no care about how the other person will feel. She also has the mindset of a pureblood, where she feels like she is better than you if your blood isn't pure.

Vera van der Heuvel - So this would be Vera, my 6th year Hufflepuff. She's a halfblood witch and she has a bunch of siblings and cousins who are like siblings and she's just this crazy cool cat who makes it a point to make everybody's business her own. She's currently very heartbroken, but she'd never show it because it's a secret, but apart from that I don't see a reason for her to not like Olivia =) But if she acts elitist about her house, she won't like her. xP

Josh Clayworth - He's a 6th Year Slytherin and he'd probably like Olivia, even he won't mention it. He actually is a really tactless, apathetic guy who doesn't do emotions and usually speaks his mind without really being bothered how somebody takes it. Maybe him and Olivia could be good friends? He's a halfblood really, but he was brought up a Muggle born, so he might openly criticize her viewpoint because his whole family (which matter) are Muggles. I just totally contradicted myself, didn't I?

Neil Pereira - Another Slytherin, but a 7th year. He broke up with his girlfriend a couple of months ago, so he's been on a sex-girls-booze rampage, but he's always been a bit of a manwhore and a total rebel. They probably flirt a lot with each other, even if he might not approve of her elitist attitude but who really cares because you get used to that being in Slytherin.

Ooh, so my most likely candidate is Scorpius Malfoy, also a 6th Year Slytherin. Scorpius is a somewhat complex character, because he is arrogant in some ways, but also has a pretty low opinion of his own personality; he puts out a cold, indifferent mask to people he either doesn't know or doesn't like, and often acts like a bit of a dick to people, but with people he loves, he can be totally different - fun, kind and thoughtful (he and Olivia are quite similar in that way). And the thing is that none of that is really a pretence - it's all the real Scorpius. Obviously, he's a pureblood, and he's always accepted the pureblood elitist ideologies as existing without necessarily having strong opinions on them himself. He's proud of being a pureblood, but he doesn't really care what other people are. He's currently dating Roxanne Weasley and very much taken, but he used to be a serial flirt and a manwhore, so I can imagine him and Olivia having had a fling, or at the very least having been flirty friends, but probably still being on good terms now?

I also have Jocasta Kirke, a 6th Year Gryffindor. Jo's very open-minded and laid back, until you come up against one her strong opinions, and then you find she has a core of steel. Her background is mixed - her father is a Muggle and her mother is a squib from a pureblood family, but she lives with her pureblood grandparents. However, she dislikes prejudice, so I can't imagine these two being friends - if they were, it would be an 'unlikely friendship' kind of scenario, and I think they'd have to have been thrown together at some point...

Only other person I have is Becky Dashwood, who is two years younger than Olivia, but her fellow Slytherin, and is very close to her cousin, Eli Pritchard, who is Olivia's house and year. Becky is, to put it bluntly, a bitch. She is also a pureblood, and while she wasn't brought up with the pureblood ideology so much, she likes to believe that she is better than everyone in every way, so her pure blood helps. Deep down, she's a slightly spoilt little girl pretending to be more sophisticated than she is, and trying to deal with the fact that the foundations of her safe little world are rocking - unfortunately, she deals with this by trying to shoot everyone else down around her... I think how she and Olivia would relate would depend on how Olivia and Eli get on - if they're friends, Becky will like and look up to her...

hey taylor, hanna here! =] i have some characters that we can plot together...

chara malfoy, who prefers to go by ella. she is scorpius' little sister and in her fourth year. i think she and olivia are similar. ella can be a downright bitch, but she's also very loyal to those that she considers friends. ella doesn't really hold the pureblood values, though sometimes it may seem like it. she comes from a very socialite family, so she cares more about that sort of stuff and being sure her family name isn't smeared, than how pure someone's blood is.

another slytherin i have is pippa tremlett. she's in her 5th year and she's kind of awkward. she doesn't have many friends, but she's been gaining loads this year! i'm not sure why she's a slytherin, really, she's far too sweet. lol. sweet, but ambitious, so maybe that's why! lol. i can see them being friendly with each other, though. (especially if olivia disliked pippa's older sister nicola. ;] )

my last slytherin is fritz towler. all you need to know about him is that he's druggie (mainly pot; he loves it), a drinker and a manwhore. he's delicious (matthias laursiden is his playby!), so i bet he and olivia had a few fun times together. or we can make them happen. i love doing the sexy threads, lol. oh, and he's also a 5th year like pippa. ^^

other characters... hmm..

i have eva faraday, who has anabela belikova's face. <3 she's a 6th year gryffindor, and a halfblood. eva is just... crazy, lol. she's loud and outgoing and loves jack daniels (in fact, she has two dogs; one is named jack and the other is named daniels. xD ) she's athletic and is a model for the wizarding world. i guess it depends on olivia whether or not they'd be friends.

the last character i think she'd know is kale lestrange. he's a pureblood, and his father is rabastan lestrange. kale is 18/19 (i can't remember his birthday, lol) and this is his first year our of hogwarts. he had been a slytherin, and he was a manwhore - so maybe they hooked up when he was in school? ummm... he went through hogwarts supporting the pureblood values, but now that he's dating grace longbottom, he's sort of changing his mind... =X but he's still awesome.

I see Olivia tolerating her because she seems interesting, but she might make fun of her for being a Hufflepuff.

Josh & Olivia
I could see them being good friends, bonding over their differences. I could see him being the friend that could help her accept people because she respects him so much. That would be very interesting to play out.

Olivia & Niel
Who doesn't like a little flirting Olivia isn't looking for anything serious, so she loves having fun. Sounds like it could be interesting. I like this idea, especially if things progress past flirting, perhaps under intoxication?

I totally dig the past fling idea. They could still be on good terms, and perhaps she occasionally slips a flirt when Weasley isn't around. She could use more friends that understand how she ticks, and I can see Scorpius doing that.

Jocasta & Olivia
I don't see them getting along, perhaps they are thrown together on a project and forced to work together.

Becky & Olivia
You're right, it all depends on if I get along with Eli. We'll have to see how that goes. Olivia wouldn't want to spend too much time with her, since she's younger. She would see her as a bit of a brat, unless she got along well with Eli.

I could see them getting along, especially if Scorpius and Olivia get along. Olivia would see herself in Ella and would appreciate her family and long-line of Slytherin's.

Pippa & Olivia
They could be friendly, but Olivia will see her sweetness as sucking up, because she's younger. She would have to get to know her better to truly accept her as a good friend.

Fritz & Olivia
Drugs, alcohol and fooling around, sounds like a good time. I would love to have Olivia hang out with Fritz, we should make that happen.

Olivia & Ava
I don't see Olivia liking her, I see her being a bit jealous that she's a model. Olivia would just put up with her if needed but might be a bit nasty to her just to try to knock her down a few levels.

Olivia & Kale
Perhaps they were friends while he was in school and they still keep contact?

I would be interested. Olivia wouldn't outright hate him, because she is fond of people in the Ravenclaw house. She would never push away a person who could help her get further in her studies, maybe she uses November and holds her tongue around him to get him to be more of a friend.

Hey Taylor, lovely, I'm Ella! I have a couple of characters who may know Olivia -

Sebastian Nott. - Seb is a slut, to be frank! He flirts with almost every female he comes in contact with and he's not ashamed of that at all. He's also extremely arrogant and vain, but he manages to be quite charming when he wants to be. He's cousins with both Scorpius and Ella and a pureblood, and no doubt he's hit on Olivia many, many times before - it's up to you whether or not she returned the flirting! They may have had a fling at some stage? His best friend is his twin sister Chloe in Gryffindor, but his 'guy' best friends would be Josh and Scorpius. Oh! And he's also in sixth year. (:

Dominique Weasley. - Dom has been given the nickname 'Insane Weasley' and it's stuck because it suits her so much, although she's not particularly pleased about that. She's incredibly loud and brash and a hardcore partier and says exactly what she thinks and never does as she's told. I'm not quite sure if she'd get along with Olivia, I think their personalities would clash! Dom's in sixth year as well but she's a Gryffindor, and I'm not sure they would run in the same circles - she despises most of the Slytherins in her year, I'm afraid!

William Archer.[/i] - Will's a seventh year Slytherin, best friends with Neil Pereira, and a bad boy to the core. He's always had a lot of luck with the ladies, but he's never had to chase - they've always come to him. He's a muggle-born and not very well off and currently living with Neil, and I'm not sure if he and Olivia would get along due to her elitist outlook on life. He really hates when people look down on him and he'd probably talk in slang and just act generally terrible around her if she thought she disapproved of him, just to make her disapprove more.

¡Hola, love! I have three or two characters plottable w/Olivia, but I have one question beforehand.

Is Olivia a seventh year or a sixth year? In her app it says her birthday is Feb. 2 and she turned seventeen, if she's a seventh year, she would have turned eighteen on the second, not seventeen.

Which is it, love?
