| [atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, width:500px; height:400px;] oliver wood - FORTY-SIX- QUIDDITCH PLAYER- STRAIGHT - MARRIED TO KATIE WOOD - so, the wood family are recruiting once more! do you have what it takes to be the one and only oliver wood? we hope so! we'll (well, i will) give you a quick recap on his super-important relationships, and then we'll get down to business, okay? first up is katie, his wife (nee bell). the story of katie+oliver can be found here here, in her app. pretty basically though, they both ended up playing for puddlemere united straight after leaving school, but nothing romantic happened then. it wasn't until the war - when they ironically didn't see as much of each other - that they started seeing each other. both initially being daft, they ignored the fact that they fancied the hell out of each other until their friends pretty much forced them into it. he proposed in the midst of the final battle of the second wizarding war, and she (obviously) accepted. they had a relatively long engagement though, and only got hitched when katie discovered there was a baby on the way. they're the loves of each others' lives - it's rumoured that he loves katie more than quidditch, and once even skipped practise for her, but don't tell anyone that! - and for them the kids are just the icing on the cake of what would have been a perfectly fulfilling life without them. that's not to say oliver doesn't love his kids, of course! although both the wood parents are definitely 'hands-off' parents who fully support independence and so on, it was oliver who initially wanted children, not katie. katie and oliver have three kids: bowman, aged 19 (& named by oliver - katie relinquishes all responsibility regarding that!); angus, aged 17; and alexandria, aged 14. (also, in my head, oliver totally took them to the park and taught them to fly their broomsticks and whatnot, but that's just me, so feel free to disregard it!). the wood family live out in the countryside near stoke-on-trent, and so the kids have always had a lot of space, and their parents are really pretty chill with this. he has a personality, of course, but it's mostly up to you! you know how quidditch-obsessed the younger oliver wood was, but has he mellowed or intensified with age? and what's he like regarding the rest of his life? as much as he tries, it can't take up all of it! faceclaim-wise, we're open to suggestions, but we've got some ideas to start you off... personally, i like matthew fox (the rather snazzy dude in the photo up there!), but moth is equally fond of marcus schenkenberg. we also think brad pitt is pretty gorgeous. basically, you have a lot of freedom with oliver, but we're completely desperate for one! please please please pm either cassie (katie), bree (alex), becca (angus) or moth (bow) for more information either about oliver or his relationship with any of the characters- we'd love for you to complete our happy little family! |
He'd be my sixth character, so I'd need to get permission, but. I've always loved Oliver ^_^ And I've never played him before, so it should be fun!
