the stern looking guy that you see making his way through the corridors of the ministry of magic as of late is werewolf registrar and support services liaison, mister davey james greyback. it has been davey's dream for many years to help out those that are going through things that he has known all to well; he was attacked by his father, fenrir greyback, at the age of thirteen. facing his demons and overcoming serious bouts of depression along with his lycanthropic cycles.

davey is from a large family; along with his father and himself, he also has six siblings, all of which are from different mothers. he knows what it's like to have to share too little between too many when his father would disappear for days at a time, and as one of the oldest he found himself coping with his own transformations during the summer and yet still looking after his younger brother and sisters. he'll have a large group of friends that all know him well enough, but very few will ever get to know his deeper, darker side.

in terms of enemies, davey will take an instant dislike to anyone that has similar core values to those of his father; for example: those who judge others based on their blood status or status' such as lycanthopic tainting or vampyric tainting - judge people on their actions, not their afflictions.

Hey, I'm Brooke =) And I have three charries to offer.

Kenzie - she's a 23 year old, ex Ministry Official. She quit her job and became a musician. They would've known each other at work, or maybe even in school? Kenzie loves meeting people and making friends, so maybe they could be friends?

Teddy - he's gonna turn 25 soon, so they would've been in school together. plus, he's half a werewolf, so I really doubt there would be any judgment from his side xP Maybe they could be really good/best friends? Teddy could use one!

Niall - okay, enemies. Niall is a 26 year old bank manager who's a pureblood and has orthodox views on everything, so he judges by blood even if it isn't obvious right away. i see hate?

Hey there! I don't think we've actually talked, but I'm Becca!

Anyway, I have about a million a grand total of thirteen characters, so I'm sure a few of them could know Davey...

The most obvious one is Jethro Hunter who is also a Ministry Official and is around Davey's age (I fail, because I always forget my adult characters' ages... but he's either 25 or 26...). Jethro is a bit of a mixed up character, because on the outside he's a cheerful, friendly, talkative, fun-loving guy, but on the inside he's still the angry little boy who never came to terms with the fact that his father was murdered, and used to lash out at other kids and storm out of classrooms... But in terms of how he'd get on with Davey... well, Jethro isn't too judgemental these days BUT he was brought up by conservative purebloods (Niall Anglesey's family, to be specific) so he has a very deeply ingrained distrust of werewolves. He generally tries not to judge people on things like blood status (and his current girlfriend is a Muggle-born) but his upbringing has left him with certain instincts that are difficult to throw off, especially as he still loves and gets on with his family... I think he wouldn't show it much outwardly, but he'd find that distrust hard to get over, and would be quite reserved around Davey...

Then I have this lady, Emily Marsdon, who is just a couple of years younger than Davey, so might have known him at school? She's a typical impulsive, slightly mad Gryffindor gal, now teaching Care of Magical Creatures at Hogwarts. She'd never judge him on his lycanthropy, and she's also best friends with Kenzie Tremlett so maybe she knows him casually?

I also have Dennis Creevey, who probably wouldn't know him all that well, but he's a Senior Auror, so he's around the Ministry, and I suppose they might have bumped into each other a few times? Dennis loathes the Dark Arts and those who practice them, and obviously doesn't judge people on their blood status, and he's all for a fairer deal for the likes of werewolves, so he'd approve of the work Davey does. He might have done a double take when he heard the name Greyback, but once he realised that Davey was nothing like his father, he'd probably like him quite a lot.

The only other thing that's just occurred to me - and I should have said it to Rebecca about Norah, but I didn't think of it, lol - is the link between the Greybacks and the Malfoys. They clearly knew each other - Draco described Fenrir as a friend of his father's at one point, although he obviously didn't like him very much himself... A slightly complicated relationship, I'd have said, where they associated with each other, but never really liked each other... I have no idea what would have happened to that after the war (thoughts?) but if any contact was kept at all, Davey might know Scorpius Malfoy, who really couldn't give a shit whether people are werewolves or not, so long as they stay away from him at the full moon...
