Personality: Devyn is mostly quiet, keeping to herself with people she doesn't know. With people she really doesn't like, such as boys that pester her all the time for a date and some of the Weasley family who just plain annoy her, she's cold and doesn't really make it her priority to make them happy. When you get to know her, she's actually nicer and not as bitter as she appears to be on the outside. She has her own sense of style and isn't afraid of what anyone else thinks of her, which are two of the things that prompted her to dye her naturally blonde hair to dark brown in third year, despite her sister Danni's constant protests of it.

Background: Devyn was born ten minutes after her twin, Danni, and her sister has never let her forget it. Danni gets protective of her sometimes, mostly because she worries about Devyn's cynical attitude and pessimistic outlook on life. Even though she doesn't outwardly show it very often, Devyn adores her sister and feels that no matter how different their personalities are, her sister is one of the only people in the world who truly understands her. Devyn, like her sister, grew up in Scotland and went to a Muggle primary school before receiving her Hogwarts acceptance letter. She excels in the majority of her classes and has never had a boyfriend, much to the surprise of many people, including some of her family, who've expected her to be a heartbreaker already. In fact, Devyn is somewhat disgusted by her sister's obsession with cute boys, going as far as ridiculing her about it at certain times.
Roleplay sample: "Danni, I don't think Quidditch is your thing, honestly," Devyn replied to her sister, who ignored her, as expected. She instead took the time to scrutinize each and every boy who had emerged from the Gryffindor change rooms after a late Quidditch practice, much to Devyn's disgust.
