Astoria Corilla MalfoyFORTY • UNEMPLOYED • MOTHER TO THREE • WIFE • PERFECTIONISTFriendsFriendsFriendsFriendsFriendsFriends Pretty simple - Friendships. Astoria's the type of woman who doesn't confide in many people, but there should be a few people she considers to be 'close.' Allies, on the other hand, are always necessary - whether they're super tight or not. Not to mention, she used to keep updated with the larger social circles of the Pureblood community, so it's not like her name isn't known.EnemiesEnemiesEnemiesEnemiesEnemies Everyone has enemies. A woman such as this one would definitely have them, because she's not quite.. nice. She's calm, pleasant, and reserved when in a public atmosphere, but she does tend to use her sarcastic tongue more often than not. She's a Malfoy, which makes it pretty simple that a lot of people hate on her. Honestly, she doesn't much care about those people - but hey, if they want the attention, she may just send them a wink.FamilyFamilyFamilyFamilyFamilyFamily Despite popular belief, her family is extremely important to her. She's just not entirely able to show it. But, she does have her children, husband, and other relatives. It's just the relationships she has with them that are rocky. Right now, none of the relationships with her family members are positive. But, perhaps her chance at bettering herself may help the ties that have been suffering? Any person that's related to Astoria knows her - knows how she acts. So, it's up to them if they want to start off with a clean slate.LoveLoveLoveLoveLoveLoveLoveLoveLove This part of her life is complicated - and yet, simple. You see, she's a Malfoy.. married to the infamous Draco Malfoy himself. But their marriage is suffering to an extreme amount and she's not quite sure what to do. Of course, now that she's back from the hospital, she wants to work on their marriage.. and actually try to make things less toxic between them. The difficulty level of that is high, but it's worth a shot in her opinion. Otherwise, she doesn't know the definition of love.
Basically - I'm up for any plots. I'm a drama & plot whore, so don't be afraid to shoot any idea towards me. I'm an open person, so my roleplays can be quite open.. Miss Astoria here is quite dramatic herself, so of course, I'm looking for lovely and delicious plottage of any kind. ♥ -- Zee.

Omg, I just had a whole long thing for Astoria and Scorpius typed out, and I accidentally pressed the back button and lost it... -.- Anyway, this is Becca. I have a whole ton of characters, but as yet only two I can think of who would know Astoria... Scorpius and Astoria I'd literally written about three paragraphs here, going into loads of detail, and I'm too lazy to type it all again, but I'm sure Scorpius' feelings about his mother will become clear as we go along anyway... For now, I'll just say that he's angry with her; he blames her (and Draco) for the problems he and his siblings have. He doesn't know about her mental illness; he does know that something is badly wrong with her though, because her behaviour wasn't normal. He kind of tried to ignore it though, because this way, he can carry on with being angry with her, whereas if he acknowledged that there was something wrong, there would be a whole load of more complicated, possibly painful, emotions coming in, and Scorpius' reaction to getting hurt is to shut off as many emotions as possible. That's kind of what he's already done with his mother, because he thinks she doesn't care about him, so he's scared to let the emotions come back in, and would rather just be angry. However, he doesn't hate her; he loves her deep down, he's just convinced himself he doesn't.
Actually, I wrote most of it again anyway, lol.Trixie and Astoria I think this is my only other character who might know Astoria, and it would be kind of interesting, since I never really fixed a relationship between them with our previous Astoria, but their circumstances mean a friendship of sorts could be amusing...
Trixie i a pureblood who would have been Astoria's year or the year below at Hogwarts (I'd need to check her age, oops) and she was a Slytherin. She was (and is) a vain, shallow social butterfly who was always trying to be more than a vain, shallow social butterfly. She did have real friendships and care about people, it was just that she put a lot of importance on looks and clothes and money and blood status; she and Astoria have quite a bit in common, so I can imagine them becoming part of the same crowd at school... Trixie's family were never quite as rich as families like the Malfoys, but she was a social climber, and she eventually married a rich pureblood man called Charles Bass (I had a plot where she was actually in love with someone else, but ditched them for the richer guy, but the person who was involved in that plot has disappeared from the site, so...). Anyway, she's now a widow with three daughters, whom she's never really known what to do with - she wanted them to be like pretty dolls for her to show off, and got cross and upset when they weren't.
The oldest one is the biggest disappointment to her, being in Hufflepuff, and having rejected everything Trixie's tried to teach her about the values of blood status and money and ladylike behaviour. Trixie still tries, now that her daughter is older, and has never quite given up on making a success of her. The daughter is also dating Damien Malfoy...
So, I think it would be amusing if they were actually good friends, if only because their children would hate it. What do you think?

Damien and Astoria There isn't much to say for Damien and his mum aside from the fact that he doesn't really think that she thinks he exists. Which -even though he won't admit it - hurts. He's the spare, the accident, the uh-oh; well at least in his mind he is, which he hasn't had much to tell him different. If Astoria told him about what happened, he'd feel slightly sympathetic, but think her overly selfish and stupid more than not. She hasn't been a mother to him and even though he likes to laugh and joke a lot, he's really this sad little boy who just wants someone to love him.
Roxanne and Astoria Well, she's dating Scorpius, and is absolutely terrified of Lucius Malfoy. Not sure where they'd interact, but Roxanne would be cordial nonetheless, even though she'd brace herself for the worst possible reaction from Astoria. Aside from Ella, Roxanne believes all the Malfoys hate her. She hasn't had much to tell her otherwise.
Hermione and Astoria This one may be a large stretch, but what the hey. Last July, during a heated argument between Draco (who works in the ministry) and Hermione (Who is head of the law dept) there was a large argument which resulted in Draco kissing Hermione, and Mione delivering him a sharp whack to the jaw. Hermione only recently told Ron because she feels bad for Draco, which if she ran into Astoria, she'd tell her the same. . .

Mmmkay. I can't make this all pretty because i only have my iPod... =[ anyway...
Ella & Astoria - Ella is a lot like her mum, more than she knows and when/if she notices, it'll be more than she cares to admit. Her mum kind of smothered her as a child, so she sort of resents that. Umm... She does love her mum, though she pretends not to when she talks to her friends. But she'll basically so anything to get attention from her parents - most of it is doing bad things, because that seems to catch their attention more than anything else. She, like Damien, just wants to be loved. (even though he got/gets less of it.)
I don't think I have any other characters that'll interact with her...

Scorpius and Astoria
Definitely a tense relationship between mother and son - but that's the way Astoria has made. Scorpius blames her and, well, she blames herself, too. She's not the type to reveal what she's recently been through, because she doesn't want sympathy or pity. Of course, going through her depressive and suicidal phase took its toll on her, but she wants to make up for all she's done. Scorpius may or may not accept that, but she's not going to let that deter her from at least, y'know, trying. But yes, this sounds like a rocky relationship with lovely drama and tension.
Trixie and Astoria
Oh my.. this pair would definitely be amusing. I can very well see Trixie and Astoria being really decent friends, from the very beginning. As in, both of them being social climbers by hanging out with those crowds during school. Also, being friends while their children are dating is rather ironic and adds more drama to their lives. Especially if Trixie's daughter is her biggest disappointment and Damien feels unloved by Astoria. Their children would hate it, but they wouldn't be able to do anything about it. (; I love the ideaaaa. <3
Damien and Astoria
That pretty much sums them up. Astoria doesn't quite understand why he feels the way he does, but she knows how it feels. So, now that she's out of the hospital, she wants to turn things around. She doesn't really care if it's too late, or if it's all for nothing, but she wants to try. It might be the medication talking, but she wants to make an effort to show him she's there for him, even if he'll never accept her love that he doesn't really see.
Roxanne and Astoria
I'm not entirely sure as how she'd act if around Roxanne, besides her usual reserved self that's in tact around other people. Rox is a Weasley, so she knows the hatred the Malfoys have for them. Not to mention, Astoria believes money, power, and blood are everything. So, she may not like the fact that she's dating her son, but she's willing to give Rox a chance - one chance to impress her. Because, even though she has a soft spot, there are still certain things that've been ingrained upon her since she was born.
Hermione and Astoria
I actually lovelovelove this idea - of it Hermione and Astoria were to run into each other. It was truly shock her to find out that Draco had kissed her, so she would, at first, lash out at Hermione - until she was convinced. After that, well, we can see what happens if we thread them, y'know? I think it'd be very dramatic and fun. (;
Ella and Astoria
Astoria seems to fall for Ella's cries for attention, because she feels as though her daughter is her main reason of life at times. Yes, she will admit to being overly suffocating of her daughter, but it's only because she wants the best for her. She's not entirely sure of Ella's thoughts or true actions, but she tries to be there for her - even when her moodiness arrives. Perhaps it is favoritism, but she won't ever say Ella's her favourite.

Scorpius and Astoria I think it'll take Scorpius a while to even begin to trust her again... He also definitely isn't going to make the first move, I'm afraid - or any move at all. He's decided that the best thing all round is for him to distance himself from his family, with the exceptions of Damien and Ella. I'm not sure if you know, but he's also supposedly moved out of the family home - he's told Draco he's not coming back, but I'm not sure if Draco's passed the message on to Astoria or not... Scorpius won't write to Astoria himself though - it's a pride thing...Trixie and Astoria Oh yay! I'm glad you like them as friends! And just to complicate things even more, Aggy (Trixie's daughter) visited the Manor in the summer and met Lucius, and I think Draco (I don't think Astoria was there though?) who both disapproved of her... However, Trixie is delighted that she's dating a Malfoy - it's the first sensible thing Aggy's ever done, in her eyes. So she'll be very annoyed if Aggy messes it up, haha.
We could thread them some time? Trixie is my least active character because I don't have many people to rp her with, so I'd love to get something started!

Ella wouldn't want to be a favorite, either. She'd feel so guilty, considering the lack of attention that her brothers get. I think that, at the end of the day, she knows that her mum just wants what's best for her. And, since Ella is a mini-Astoria, I don't think she'd mind all that much... having goals to reach, I mean. I also think she realizes that her mum will be the one that's there for her, always, no matter how badly she tries to get Draco's attention/affection. I don't think she's entirely okay with that (because sometimes she just wants to be a daddy's girl), but I think that when she's older and more mature, she'd probably be at peace with it. She's happy, though, when/if she can make her mum smile. =] overall, Ella has hope for her family. She'll say the opposite out loud simply because she wants to protect herself from getting hurt, but deep down, she's hoping for the best.
