Checking in to see how you have been as of recent - I have not heard from you or your brothers in quite a while, but I thought of writing to you first since I have a hunch they seem to have been neglecting you for their respective girlfriends.
Let me know how fourth year has been so far for you, and do not hesitate to inform me if you are having any troubles with any of your classmates.

Dear Grandfather,
Hello! Thanks for writing me. You didn't ask directly but I'm okay, thanks, as are Damien and Scorpius. They're not ignoring neglecting me too badly - I spent time with Damien on his birthday, so that says a lot.
Fourth year is okay. All of the professors keep telling us that we have to prepare for next year, seeing as OWLs are than. I thought fifth year would be the time to prepare for them, but I guess not. I'm kind of bored, actually.
No problems with classmates. In fact, things are going surprisingly well. Which means that shit hell something [bad] is most likely going to happen in the near future. But I'll enjoy myself for now. I've made some new friends, and Lucy and I aren't fighting anymore.
Tell Grandmother I love her, and I'll write her soon! Please.

That is no problem, as it is my duty as your grandfather to write and check in on your well-being. Damien's birthday - what That is all good to hear. I'm glad that they are finally spending more time with you.
Oh, I see. Well, as I'm quite aware that you can be a very intelligent and clever young lady when you want to be, I'm sure that OWLs will not be that big of an obstacle for you to pass when the time comes at the end of next year. In fact, I feel that you'll do quite well on them. The same cannot be said for Damien
Why do you feel that something bad is going to happen just because so many good things are happening to you right now? That's not the way to think. Oh, Lucy? As in Lucy Weasley?
I most certainly will. Thank you for exhibiting an interest in your grandmother. Your brothers, as usual, seem to have forgotten all about her.

P.S. A dog? Why For what purpose, my dear? But yes, I'm sure that that convincing your father won't be any significant problem if you truly wish to own this animal. He can be easily persuaded, to say the least.

Well, thank you very much! I'm working really hard this year, so I hope you're right. If you don't mind my asking, did you do well when you has to sit the OWLs?
Because life doesn't work that, Grandfather. Something has to come along to mess it all up. I'm just trying to be realistic, but I'll try to b more positive if it'll make you feel better. Yes, Lucy Weasley. That's not an issue, is it?
I think Damien I'll remind them to write her, too. I think she'd like to hear from all of us.

P.S. No purpose, exactly. I just want a dog and Daddy is making up lousy excuses as to why I can't have one. He gets annoyed with me the more I push the subject. But sometimes I get lonely at the manor and I think it might be nice to have a dog with me....
