Scars: Long scar near her collarbone
Personality: Ordinarily quiet, though when gossip is involved she gets quite loud. Gets slightly above average marks, but though she tries really hard, can’t get many Os. Likes Astronomy best, and likes seeing the relationships between the stars and people, though it always makes her feel insignificant. Is a bit of a romance guru, for those that ask. Often assumes people dislike her without any proof, and can act quite cold toward people because of this. Sometimes feels like her mother pressures her to be incredibly popular and beautiful like she was. Though she is quite happy with her small circle of friends, sometimes she wishes she was more like her mother. Doesn’t trust people too quickly, or too often; mostly doesn’t trust at all.
Likes: : Astronomy, romance, stars, the colour white, most animals, Hogwarts, Greek mythology and her friends
Dislikes: Horrible people, the colour brown, any sports – especially Quidditch – rats, people who show off about knowing one word of a language
Strengths: Organised, smart, nice in a surface-type way, great at helping people with their problems, a pacifist
Weaknesses/Flaws/Vices: Standoffish, insecurity, doesn’t believe in herself, often shows herself to be quite cold, is a terrible gossip - she often learns information she isn't supposed to, and passes it on to the next person she sees.

Background: Ella grew up with a very close relationship with her brother, as they lived in a very small village with not many other children. She was always quite shy, and avoided most people except her immediate family and her close Muggle friend Anya.
She never met her paternal grandparents, as both were killed during the second Wizarding War.
After her brother went to Hogwarts when she was eight, their friendship deteriorated until they barely spoke, as he was quite absorbed with his new life and new friends. Because of this, she started spending more and more time at her maternal grandparents house. It was there she fell in love with Astronomy and mythology through her grandfather's influence.
Her maternal grandmother started attempting to turn her into the socialite girly girl that Kathleen never was as a child, taking her to social dinners and parties, though the only affect this had on Ella was to make her become interested in gossip and romance.
Her grandfather died just weeks before she started Hogwarts, which left her emotionally scarred and quite reluctant to become close to people.
She eventually settled in and made a few close friends.
Roleplay sample: Reaching the top of the Astronomy Tower, she unfolded her telescope and reached into one of the alcoves and retrieved a rolled up parchment. Unrolling it onto her knee, she scribbled down the time and date before looking into the telescope's eye.
A movement on the ground caught her eye, and she swivelled the telescope so she was looking directly at the two figures, her inner gossipy nature taking over.
