Levi wandered into Florean Fortescue's Ice Cream Parlor,They'd dropped him off earlier and wandered off to work. His mum had her candy shop to attend to, and Mr. Ward was a respected doctor who needed to be at work. Levi had requested to be dropped off at Diagon Alley for the day in hopes he'd find a friend to converse with or a new book to read or something instead of being cooped up in the house with no books to read or anything. He could've done other things, but Diagon Alley seemed like the best option. The teenager would be able to do whatever he liked for eight hours.
Of course, there were things that Levi wanted to accomplish. For starters, he wanted to buy some new robes, considering the fact he'd grown out of his old ones by a long shot. Selling the old ones would be a job for tomorrow- they were at home, anyways. A new caldron would've been nice, but how would he carry it and how would he pay for one? Caldrons were expensive, anyways, and Lee didn't have much pocket money to spend. Lunch still needed buying, after all, it was nearing noon.
Pausing before he entered the ice cream store, he put aside the thoughts of his parents yelling at him for eating ice cream as his lunch. After all, he was nearly fifteen, and it was his decision on what he ate, right? Lee's father in particular wouldn't be happy, but oh well. He could always have something better for a snack or something.
Levi searched for an empty table to sit at, hoping to just get some time to think. He wouldn't admit that he was scared for his Hogwarts supply list to come- the thought of not becoming prefect was crushing, but it was more probable than getting the badge.
