But I thought I should warn you all. Last night, my internet died for no apparent reason, all my attempts to resusitate it failed, and it was still down this morning. I don't know when or how this problem will be fixed, but I may possibly be without internet at home for a while.
I can check PMs and drop in for brief times from work, but I can't really take time to reply in many threads.
So, this is just an explanation if anyone noticed that I wasn't around. I'm sorry about last night too, because I disappeared without any warning, but I couldn't help it!

Update: It's not fixed yet. I rang them last night and had a long conversation with the woman on the other end, the conclusion of which was So I was like, great, fix it please? And she said someone would call me at 8am today, but they didn't. So, still no internet...  |

Okay, I've replied in a couple of threads (Louis') and now I need to go. And it's the weekend, so unless my internet miraculously gets fixed, I won't be back until Monday. I miss you guys! |

Okay, well, bad news. The fault on my line is complicated and they need to send a specialist engineer to my house to fix it. The only times they could offer me were this weekend, and I'm away (in Edinburgh, looking after a group of 12-17-year-olds, shoot me please?  ). I'm not too hopeful for next week either, because I'm at work all day, they can't do evenings, and I'm also working Saturday (no work happens on Sundays up here, and that includes internet engineers). So basically... it's going to be after Christmas before I get the internet back in my flat, BUT I should hopefully be going to my parents' for Christmas, provided that the snow doesn't get worse and they don't cancel the trains. So, I should have internet again for a while from Christmas Eve onwards. I miss you all so much! |
