Cass: It looks good, lovely!
As for rotating text, after you finish writing it:
1) In your tools, select the rotate tool. It's a square with one arrow going up on one side and one arrow going down on the other. It's roughly in the middle of the tool set.
2) Make sure you're in the text layer. Then just rotate whichever way by clicking and dragging the text down or up according to how you want to rotate it.
/not entirely sure this works, never tried to rotate text before xP

Or, if that doesn't, and you just want to move it like at a 90 degree angle, you can just choose the first tool (i think its called square cut? Not sure), click on the text layer, Ctrl-A, right-click, Image, Transform, and then there should be like... Rotate 90 degrees, rotate 180 degrees... Again, not sure if it works on text, but yeah =P
