- TWENTY FIVE - PROFESSOR - HETERO -
lila siyavash is a sweet, passionate young woman with the ambitions of becoming a professor at hogwarts one day. until then, she's a trainee in the arithmancy department. now, she's not entirely pleased that she's got to put her plans on hold for this, but she knows that it's a necessary step, so she's trying to make it as best she can.
as a general rule, she's a social girl, so she's going to want to make a lot of friends here at hogwarts. she's new, and her english may be a little hard to understand sometimes, but that doesn't make her any less of a socialite. she's always been an outgoing person and so friends will be a pretty open thing for her!
enemies, though not as abundant as friends, will certainly still exist. lila usually likes to keep it a one-woman-show when it comes to work; she doesn't like other people doing things for her or helping her because she's fiercely independent and she firmly believes that no one's going to do it right unless it's her. naturally, this is going to rub some people the wrong way.
and, well, as for romance, lila isn't so sure about that. she's never had time for a relationship; her life has been a blur of studies, dealing with a family death, and more studies - which didn't leave much time for dealing with a relationship. this being said, lila is terribly inexperienced with romance, and she's certain any man she finds is a man her father will either adore or absolutely hate, so she's a little tentative to breach that subject with him at all.

Hi Ash, I'm Ella, don't know if we've met before? Anyways, I have a couple of characters that may know Lila! One of them is Lidia Fairchild, who's nearly twenty-six, and would've been the year above Lila in school, I do believe? Lidia's very sexy and sassy and flirtasious and super-clever and can be quite sharp when she wants to as well. She was a Ravenclaw at school and most of the other girls absolutely detested her for no reason whatsoever and she was bullied by them quite horribly but you'd almost never think it if you knew her now because she's so supremely confident! They could probably know of/know each other, and I wouldn't be able to see why they wouldn't like each other!
And then Sebastian Nott, who's a seventh year Slytherin, would probably be a total nuisance to her by hitting on her all the time! Well, hitting on her's a bit strong - I'd say he'd just saunter over to her every now and then and widen his eyes and ask for help in Arithmancy - which would be complete bullshit because he's got absolutely perfect grades and always has. But she's hot, so he'd take any excuse to talk to her that he could!
The last person she could possibly know is Nicholas Eames, a twenty-nine year old musician, member of the popular band the Fifth Horseman. He's the quietest member of the band, but just because he's so chilled - he's honestly the most laid-back person you could find! He's always pretty cheerful and he's very charming and charismatic and flirty and he can cook very well. His morals are a bit topsy turvy every now and then, but he's generally quite a decent chap. I know that he's a couple of years older than her, but there's always the possibility that they could know each other vaguely/be friends/he could have flirted with her previously/whatever!

riss - she'll have just turned twenty five, i believe. c: she didn't go to hogwarts, but she would have been a ravenclaw at least in my mind pls
ella - for lidia and lila, i can definitely see them getting along. lila would admire how confident she is with her sexuality and just be like "wow i need to not be awkward about romance and be more like lidia" or whatever BD so maybe they knew of each other but haven't really talked until now?? and now they can get along and be friends if that works *u*
for seb, amg. lila will just be like "you're so cute you're like nine" or something and even though she knows he gets perfect grades she'll just be all "oh really mr. nott, you don't understand the class you're getting a perfect grade in??" and she will be terribly amused by him BD
and for nicholas! he seems like just the kind of fellow that lila would get along well with. plus he's a good cook, which pleases her greatly to have that trait amongst her friends BD she would probably try and flirt back but having little practice with it, it would mostly be like "so uh this is a nice erm band you have -" or something. 8|| no but seriously if he flirted with her she wouldn't really know what to do with herself except just like thank him and blush a little. so yeah BD

Hey Ash! So, I have a few characters who would know her... Emily Marsdon is her fellow teacher at Hogwarts - she's a year younger than Lila, but fully qualified, though she's only been teaching a couple of years. She was a Gryffindor at school (did Lila go to Hogwarts?) and basically still behaves like a child. She's friendly and outgoing and impulsive and would probably go out of her way to invite Lila for drinks and stuff! Maybe they could become good friends? Jethro Hunter is 26, so a year or so older than her. I'm not sure how well they'd know each other, but they might have met, especially if she did attend Hogwarts. He's another ex-Gryffindor (not all my characters are, I promise) and outwardly very charming and chatty, and naturally flirty, but he's not doing that so much any more, since he has a girlfriend. He also has a lot of hidden issues and insecurities, but I won't get into all that now, lolol. xP Oh, and he works for the Ministry, in the Department for Magical Law Enforcement, and his family are rich purebloods. My other young adults aren't as close in age, so I don't know if they'd know her, but just for reference, I have: Jake Gullane (this guy whose account I'm on), age 20, Muggleborn, ex-Ravenclaw, school drop-out, ex-con and teen father. Stefano De Luca, age 23, ex-Hufflepuff, curse breaker for Gringotts, playboy, obnoxious flirt and all-round dick. Isha Lamont, age 23, ex-Slytherin, Ministry Employee (Department for International Co-operation), self-sufficient, resourceful and really very sweet. Suzanne Stanley, age 21, ex-Slytherin, part-owner of a political satirical newspaper, extreme cynic, doesn't care what anyone thinks of her. Leighton Robards, age 21, artist and part time employee at Slug and Jiggers Apothecary, ex-Ravenclaw, extremely shy and quiet. Then I have at least two students taking Arithmancy: Scorpius Malfoy, Seventh Year Slytherin, not the most dedicated student, but mostly turns up to lessons and hands homework in eventually... Louis Weasley, 6th Year Hufflepuff, acts like a complete clown, but is actually surprisingly intelligent and enjoys things involving Maths, so is really very good at Arithmancy. I'll leave it at that for now, haha.  |

Well, I assume that she and Emily would know each other now anyway, since they work together! Emily's a loud, horny drunk, but Lila doesn't need to worry because Em's very much straight and in love with her fiance (the Transfiguration professor) so he's the one who has to, er, suffer from it. xP When she's with the girls, she just gets very loud and silly. And she'd love getting Lila drunk I'm afraid, haha. For Jethro... the thing about Jethro's secrets is that they really are secret from everyone. Anyone who went to school with him would know that as a teenager he was completely out of control and in serious need of Anger Management, but these days he really doesn't show any of his issues. Because his secrets are kind of major ones, haha. So I'm fine with them being friends, and maybe she could be aware that there's stuff behind the smile, but she wouldn't know what it was, and he wouldn't talk about it, because he really doesn't talk about it to anyone... I mean, he genuinely is mostly fine these days, he just has some unresolved stuff from his childhood. Haha, Stef's used to being told he's a tool - that sort of thing just washes over him. He wouldn't see her as a sister though - he'd hit on her shamelessly...  And Scorpius is a little bastard, so he'd coldly reject any attempt at mothering, I'm afraid. He wouldn't dislike her, but he'd probably appear very cold and distant, because that's just how he is with most people...  |

all of that works perfectly. ♥ i sort of expected that out of scorpius, which is why i think it would be more one-sided than anything. |D and for jethro, that's perfect! she and em can go get funny drunk together BD and stef can hit on her all he likes - she'll just awkwardly respond and be all "erm thanks i think uh -u-" because she's so inexperienced about it, and he'll probably get her a little flustered! but over all i think she'd just try and like pat his head and be all "there there". XD

omg, ash, i'm soooooooooo sorry i'm just getting 'round to this! anyway, this is hanna =]
digger powell - he's one of my male professors and he's 26. he's emily's fiance ^^ he and lila probably new each other from hogwarts? digger is a pretty outgoing guy, he loves a good laugh. he's also got a dirty mind. i doubt he'd flirt with lila, though... especially when em's around... ;] he teaches transfiguration.
rory o'callaghan - he's older by 9 years and he's just started at hogwarts this year. he's the charms professor. he's pretty cool. he's really laid back and he doesn't get angry easily. he takes things in stride, but also goes with the flow if you know what i mean? he's also the oldest child of... oh gosh... 7 kids? so he sort of has this mentality to take care of people. =P
isabella o'malley - headmistress, so obviously she and lila would have some sort of relationship. i like to think that izzie has a good relationship with all of her professors =] she's pretty easy-going.

digger and lila - aaahhhh since he's em's fiancee they will most definitely need to hang out <3 the fact that he's outgoing and humorous means that he and lila are going to get along swimmingly, i think !
rory and lila - haha i'm not sure how lila would feel about him! on the one hand he would probably remind her a lot of her brother, which would make her want to simultaneously be around him and also not be! i imagine he'd find lila's awkwardness around him very odd, especially if he saw how easily she got along with others?
isabella and lila - bahaha excellent BD lila will probably ask izzie out for drinks sometime and be like "i mean uh -" trying not to seem irresponsible |D

i don't know if travis would know lila, but it'd be nice to see how they'd interact? travis is a difficult guy to explain, but i definitely think he'd have a thing for lila- she's older, for one thing, and he quite likes older girls (even if she's not quite as old as he'd like). he's also very protective of nik, and though i'm not sure if nik's taking arithmancy, (i don't think so, but i'll have to ask janey) he might see her as a way of checking up on him? i think he'd like her more than some of the other professors if nik's not taking arithmancy, because then he wouldn't blame her for nik failing. he'd admire her ambition, i think?
