Aislinn is Head of House for Ravenclaw at Hogwarts, and the Professor of Flying there. After falling into her job pretty much by accident, she completely adores it.
Aged twenty-six, she has been estranged from her Muggle family for eight years, with no sign of either party making a concerted effort to heal the rift and get in touch. However, the fact that she grew up with three brothers (Neil, aged 29; Iain, aged 28; and her twin brother Callum) is evident to this day in her somewhat tomboy-ish nature which often comes as a surprising contrast to her long-limbed and elegantly girly good looks.
She can initially seem a little uptight and aloof, a side effect of a natural hesitance and a slight shyness, but when that dissipates it becomes obvious that Aislinn is vivacious and determined, with a wry sense of humour. Perhaps her greatest weakness is her inability to trust people very easily, and to let down her guard, something which has had negative consequences for her love-life in the past.
And a mention of a love-life brings me neatly to Jack Hewer. Or rather, doesn't quite. Jack and Aislinn have been not quite involved for, gosh, a little over a year now. It's really rather embarrassing. She likes him a lot, but is unsure enough of his reciprocating her feelings in full not to make the first move. If you want to shove your oar in, by all means, go ahead.
As family and romance plots are pretty much off the cards, Aislinn could really do with some friends - I'm presuming she's relatively close with the Hogwarts staff, but beyond that, I'd love some more! Being a teacher and all, some threads with her pupils wouldn't go amiss - she's an understanding Head of House if you've got a problem!

Ellen is thirty-one, and seven months pregnant with her second child after having two miscarriages after the birth of her first child. She adores her husband, Callan, and has one daughter Eilidh, who's aged five and who has just started at the local primary school.
Ellen is not someone whom it would be advisable to take on in a fight. Combining tenacity, physical strength, an innate sense of right and wrong and a fair dollop of sheer pig-headedness in one person means that, if she sets her mind to it, she can be fairly - though not entirely - undefeatable. She enjoys arguing with people - mostly Callan - 'just for fun', as she generally finds it more interesting than general conversation: this says a lot about Ellen's approach to the world in general.
She does not have many similarities with any of her siblings, but cares for them all deeply, and tried to protect them as best she could whilst growing up. Perhaps as a result of this, she has a very 'mother hen' mentality, and is always collecting waifs and strays to care for. Ellen is extremely loyal to those she loves, particularly her bothers and sister, her husband and her daughter. She always has to be active, both mentally and physically, so her life is often habitually chaotic as a matter of course.
Ellen loves her job as an Auror, especially the undercover and excitingly dangerous parts of it, though given her current stage of pregnancy, I'm presuming she's mostly confined to desk duties - I suppose that could lead to some interesting threads with people coming in for one problem or another!
She could do with a couple of friends or family members to thread with as well.

Elsie is twenty-six, and I really need to play her a lot more! She's the school nurse at Hogwarts, but, in reality, is a lot more talented than the job requires. She was on a fast-track training programme for surgery at St. Mungo's when she embarked upon an affair with her tutor, Mark Dashwood, and her life was consequently turned upside-down.
She fled to Hogwarts to get over her heartbreak when his wife found out, and though they did rekindle the affair when Mark worked out where she was, it is now over again. Elsie's method of coping with Mark stamping all over her emotions is pretty much to sleep around - so if your character's looking for a pretty, accomplished and basically screwed up girl to hit on, Elsie's your girl!
Elsie is non-judgemental and easy to confide in - skills necessary to her job as much as personality traits. She's efficient and calm under pressure, when it doesn't involve Mark, at which point she feels incredibly irrational - she knows it's stupid to feel this way about someone who's married, but whatever else, she is genuinely in love with him.
She's close friends with Luke Merryweather (though she doesn't yet know about Gavi...) and Lidia Fairchild, but more are always welcome! And, as previously mentioned,a couple of flings would be super-handy!

As the first-born child of Harry Potter, that well-known saviour of the wizarding world, James was in the spotlight even before he was born. He has grown up in the glare of a media spotlight, his actions seemingly perpetually under scrutiny. Consequently, he has learnt to adopt an attitude of easy-going nonchalance and appears apparently unfazed by most things, whether that be newspaper gossip of a bad grade on a test.
Almost an inverse of his baby sister, Lily, James gets quieter as he gets to know people better. He only truly relaxes his guard and drops his 'life and soul of any party going' persona when he feels comfortable with a person. Therefore, whilst to those who properly know him, James is a surprisingly tactful and sensitive boy with a love of Herbology and a gift for Quidditch, to the population at large he seems loud, teasing, and the ever-hilarious centre of attention.
Naturally very protective, something that tends to come with the territory of big brother-ing, he thinks, he tends to 'mother hen' those closest to him, though he'd pulp you if you described it thus - he's manly, dontchknow! His temper isn't too easily roused, and when it is, he tends to be very cutting with his words, rather than physically violent.
He's attractive and he knows it, to put it bluntly. It's something he both abuses and finds faintly irritating. Although he'll admit it can be kind of handy to always be assured of a date for any event, and, let's face it, he's a teenage boy- it's wonderful for his ego; he also has trouble knowing who likes James and who likes James Potter. As a fundamentally trusting kind of guy, this can be very unnerving for him.
Out of his cousins, Rose is probably the one whom he is closest to. The two identify, being the eldest of the 'Golden Trio''s children, and therefore completely au fait with all the related pressures and expected conformities. They have been fast friends since childhood, and are likely to remain this way, although James might disapprove of a boyfriend or two of Rose's (and vice versa). Rose is James' go-to girl for any matters on, well, anything really, and in return James acts as a translator for 'boy language'.
James is going out with Cassie Lewis, and has been since for the past year, so a current romance is off the cards - but you can fling in past flings and relationship and their current reverberations if you like! He could do with some more friends and enemies and blah - basically, I just need to play him a lot more, and he's fundamentally a decent guy.

Imagine your typical professional Quidditch player: focused, determined, bloody-minded, analytical. That's Katie in a nutshell, to the undiscerning public. In reality, she's a little more complex than that (who isn't?).
She's a very 'hands off' mother - it's not that she doesn't love her children - she does, honest - its just that she thinks they need freedom, and she wants them to grow up independent and self-assured. She still worries half to death about Bow, Angus and Alex though, mostly in the wee small hours of the morning.
Katie's good at repressing her feelings, at hiding how she really feels from the whole world - somehow, she manages to combine this with a quick temper. She feels things deeply, she just doesn't show it. Oliver gets past her defences somehow - she lets him in without realising it: it's probably one of the reasons why their marriage is such a rare success in celebrity circles.
I need to play Katie more! Some threads with her kids would be fabby, and if anyone would like to play Bow or Oliver, I would adore you forever! She also needs to spend some time with her friends, whom I'm assuming are going to be Angelina et al., and possibly some Quidditch-related people?
Her application is here, if you want any more info!

Narcissa initially appears cold and aloof, and has cultivated a reputation for behaving as such. This is, on the whole, deserved. She does not trust easily - for all her wealth and status after all, life has not dealt her a particularly easy hand.
Narcissa is not a particularly nice person if you cross her, she earnt her place in Slytherin with her cunning and her ability to manipulate people when she needs to. She holds many secrets close to her chest, having been brought up this way, it is a lifelong habit that she has maintained. Yet those who know Narcissa know her to be more intelligent that the façade she sometimes projects to the world, and capable of loving people fiercely and intently. She has tried to hide her humanity in the past - for what she believed was the good of the family - yet has never lost it: love is what keeps her sane in a challenging world.
Narcissa likes having a good social standing, and on occasion in the past has been somewhat ruthless to achieve this. Her husband and son are her Achilles' heel. She has a history of eating disorders and other mental illnesses.
I haven't actually RPed Narcissa yet (sorrysorrysorry) so any threads at all would be appreciated, particularly with her family because I'm guessing there's some issues there that need working through!

Neil is a love-'em'-and-leave-'em kinda guy. Always the life and soul of a party, he has a knack of getting on with people from all walks of life. He doesn't mean to break hearts, it just happens when he's around. Most people don't realise until it's too late: he's just too nice and down-to-earth and simply practical for people to peg him as 'that guy'.
For someone so outgoing, he can sometimes be strangely reticent about his home life: it's nothing sinister - his rationale is that there's merely nothing to tell. His mother died in a freak muggle care accident when he was in his thirties, and he pops homes occasionally to check up on his dad. None of the women in his life are ever there long enough to have any true significance, and there are definitely no kiddywinks loitering around! He likes being a bachelor, and the independence it gives him, particularly as he feels it complements the self-sufficiency of his life and chosen career.
All in all, he's a pretty happy chappy.
He's friends with Jack Hewer, and he kind of keeps hooking up with Isabella O'Malley, who he likes a lot more than he keeps telling himself. It's not exclusive yet though, well, not on his end anyway, so he's likely to sleep with anyone else in the interim. I really, really need to get him out more, so please - any suggestions!

Aged 47, Noelle has had a varied, hard and interesting life, and this has shaped her personality immeasurably. She is naturally resourceful, organised and determined, but has also had to learn to be ruthless, proud and not easily deterred. She has tried to instil the majority of these values into her son.
Noelle is also proud and quick-witted, with a scathing tongue when provoked. Although she can initially be frosty with people - and this phase can last for many years - if she takes a liking to someone she will defend them to the death. Perhaps the most integral part of Noelle's personality is her loyalty, particularly to Kale's father, Rabastan Lestrange.
She runs an events management business called 'Tu Bora', which, after Kale of course, is her pride and joy.
She knows that Rabastan Lestrange is out of jail - how could she not? - but has not told her son that she has been in contact with him. Part of her is terrified at his re-emergence and what he will try to do with her son, but part of he is still very much in love with him.
Her application is here if you want a bit more information on her past.

Rosie is my baby. Well, she's pretty much the same age as me and not real, but you get what I mean...
Rose is highly competitive, often to the point of single-mindedness, and perpetually fidgety. You can tell she's her parents' daughter: somehow she manages to combine her father's sense of humour, red hair and goofiness with her mother's intelligence and perceptiveness, and she's inherited the stubbornness of both.
She has a quick temper, and is loyal to her core. She's passionate about Quidditch and is on the house team alongside James (or Jamie), probably her closest cousin.
Having ridiculously long legs, a mane of distinctive hair and the snogging abilities of a borderline nymphomaniac, Rose has never had any issues attracting boys, though she tends to freak out slightly (still) when she does. She's currently kind of seeing Seth Wishart, a seventh year Gryffindor.
She could do with some flirty threads, and some friendly/hateful threads, and some family ones!

Saoirse has just turned twenty-one, so is very young to be a pub landlady, but it was under very unusual circumstances and she's making a good go of it, despite it being wildly different to her original ambition of becoming an Auror.
Saoirse has no family except for her Great-Aunt Bridget, whom she completely dotes on - to get in Saoirse's good books, if you can, it's a good idea to get on the right side of Bridget where possible.
A former Hufflepuff, she's outgoing, friendly and gregarious. Her best friend is Caspian Fleming, also her flatmate. Romance-wise, she's falling head over heels for Jethro Hunter, though their relationship does consist more of flirting, shagging and snogging than any kind of meaningful conversation.
She could do with some threads with her friends, and if you need a listener for anyone, then a barmaid is basically a counsellor after you've had a couple of pints!
Oh yeah, and she's Irish!

Hello, meet Cassie's shiniest and newest of characters, Sylvie Robards! Is that 'yay', I hear you cheering? Fab!
For the full low-down on everything, her application is just here, so knock yourself out and go check it out. In the meantime, I'll fill you in on some basics. Originally, she was the second of the Robards siblings, but after Florence's suicide, Sylvie has the been the eldest of the remaining three for just about ten years now - she's still not used to that.
Her adolescence was troubled, to say the least - for all the details on that, check out both Sylvie's application and her sister's, Lavinia Hewer's, application - but I'll give you the whistle-stop version now. Florence, the eldest Robards girl, attempted to commit suicide in Sylvie's second year at Hogwarts. She failed, but was discovered to be pregnant and was diagnosed with early-onset schizophrenia. At around the same time, Sylvie's eating disorder began to develop, although not to the extent that anybody actually noticed for a good few years. In the summer after her third year, Sylvie attended an academy for dance, and the severity of her eating disorder increased dramatically in that time period and again when she returned to Hogwarts for her fourth year. The next summer was the worst for the Robards family: Sylvie was still in the grips of anorexia and had also began to self-harm, Leighton stopped speaking almost completely, and Florence discharged herself from hospital, tried to murder her three-year old daughter and ultimately killed herself.
Sylvie began the long and difficult process of recovering from her eating disorder in her fifth year, but relapsed many times before her seventh year at Hogwarts. Even now, Sylvie does not fully feel like she is completely recovered, and more like she is always just in remission, another relapse always a possibility. During that time period, Sylvie also spent a lot of her time and energy on coaxing her brother Leighton to speak once more, something that everybody else had given up on. Her success in this endeavour is one of the primary reasons that she chose to train as a counsellor upon leaving school.
Personality-wise, despite everything, Sylvie is very trusting, sweet and nurturing. She instinctively cares indiscriminately, and for those who know her, her kindness is remarkable. Although the issues at home and her own poor mental state caused Sylvie to become introverted during the middle years of her time at Hogwarts, she still had a tight-knit, supportive and intensely loyal group of friends, who remain very close to this day. Unlike her sisters, Sylvie was sorted into Ravenclaw at school.
She's currently single. Her first proper relationship began at the end of sixth year, and she lost her virginity to the boy just before the Christmas of her seventh year. They'd broken up by the following Easter, but I imagine that they had a very sweet and 'pure' relationship. Since then, I can't imagine that Sylvie hasn't had more than her fair share of admirers and suitors: she doesn't sleep around by any means, but I'm definitely more than willing to plot some past relationships, please and thank-you!
If you think your character would have any reason to hate Sylvie's guts, hit me up. I can't actually think of anything outright right now, but no-one gets on with everyone, so let me know and it could be interesting!
And there you have it. If you want any more information that isn't in her application or anything, drop me a PM. Now, go plot, little ones, go plot!

Now, go plot, little ones, go plot!
i love brooklyn from caution !!!
