So I know we used to have these and I miss it and I thought it would be fun to revive. Nothing major like stuff like ( I totally made these for fun):    you know? Especially since we have so many crazy ships and it's fun. That is all. |

soooo. i like this idea. there's just one thing that i see becoming a huge problem, even if no one admits it.
there's lots of ships/characters on this site, as you've stated. firstly (actually, this issue just occurred to me), we would have to limit the amount of buttons in a sig. so if people make buttons, they may or may not get used.
which leads me to... some people might get their feelings hurt if there are no buttons involving their characters OR if there are and no one uses them. i can see some people being sensitive about it, and i think they have the right. we all may range in ages, but our feelings still get hurt no matter what age we are. i know a few people on here who think their characters don't match the caliber of other charries.
does that make sense? =\

Yeah, I have to say, I kind of agree with Hanna. Like... I do really like the idea in theory, but... I know I personally ship about twenty different ships at least, and how would I get them all in my sig...? Plus, would everyone have to make their own buttons? Because you're awesome with graphics, Brooke, but I know I'm not nearly as good, and not everyone even likes making them... Those issues wouldn't be a huge problem though, it's really the one of people feeling left out/hurt that I see as the major thing.  And also, there are some pairings that everyone talks about and ships, but then there are others that may be just as awesome, but nobody really ships them because they're just threading quietly in a corner and nobody's really noticed them, and it would be a shame if they got neglected. I'm trying to think of a way we could get round it though, because I do think the ones you've made are awesome, and I'd love to be able to use them... |

Okay, so basically, I really love this idea but unfortunately, I do agree with the other admins about peoples feelings getting hurt!
I think maybe we could limit two to an account, Hanna? Like we used to do with the buttons that Nanii made. So if somebody has more than one character then they can use different or the same, whatever, icons in their account.
With the peoples feelings getting hurt thing... I'm trying to think of a way around that and all I can think of is having people suggest pairings, characters, whatever to whoever's making the icons! Maybe there could be an icon made specifically per member? Like... I dunno. There's an icon for at least one of everyone's characters that they can use if they want or something? Does that make any sense, lol?

Maybe we can have it be slightly IC? Like the house buttons were? For example, if there's a Kale/Grace button out there, it would probably be on Abby's account because she adores them, but it's the last thing to be on Nicki's account, right? And if I have a charrie, who's having a plot which I ship but it's a quiet thing, then I could put a button of it on that charrie's account, right? /does that even make sense?  Also, I totally don't mind offering myself up to take requests and stuff. |

I think having it as an IC thing could be really really awesome actually! All my characters have ships that they ship, haha. And then if we had some that weren't ships, just opinions on characters, that would be awesome to do IC too - more fun than OOC really, because OOC I think we all pretty much love all the characters, whereas IC we could be a lot more rude...  The other thing that occurred to me was that we could tie it into the otms. So every pairing that wins relationship of the month (and I think I'm right in saying that as of next month, it will be all types of relationship, not just love/hate/friendship) gets a button made for it (I'm not volunteering you to do them all, Brooke, haha - but it would be good if we had maybe a few people who were willing to share the job...). Maybe the same could be done for the characters who win character of the month - the person who plays them could request what the button said... That way, it's almost like a prize for winning an otm, and obviously, other people can use the ones they agree with, and can change every month, or keep the old ones, whatever they want... |

Becca, I love that OTM idea actually! It's brilliant! xD Also, Brooke, I can always help out with the buttons if you ever need some. I've never really made any before but I can try. :)

Truth be told, this was my first shot. I'm still experimenting with fonts and borders and stuff xP But I love the OTM idea! You know, maybe we can have a thread in the Creation Station, like the Couples Graphics, where anybody can contribute a button, you know and the first post can have a roster of it them all?
