OVERALL PERSONALITY:
Liam is a pretty simple kid. Not simple as in dull or stupid, but as in it doesn’t take a lot of make him happy. He’s very easy going and laid back. The only time he shows any seriousness is for things he cares deeply for, such as dragons. He grew up living and breathing dragons; he’s very passionate about them. They helped shape who he is today. Liam is usually always happy. He prefers to think of the glass as half-full rather than half-empty. He encourages others to do the same, but he doesn’t go overboard with enthusiasm. (Liam doesn’t like to be considered annoying.)
He likes to keep an open mind. He appreciates constructive criticism and asks for it frequently when the situation calls for it. He doesn’t have many prejudices, though one thing he cannot tolerate is pureblood supremacy. He’s got zero tolerance for it and that is the one thing that will get him the angriest the fastest. It usually takes a lot for him to get angry and when he does, it’s not always pretty. He has trouble expressing his anger (since it never happens); Liam prefers to stuff it down otherwise he’ll sulk. He hates to sulk; he hates to feel low.
Sticking up for what he believes in seems to be a Weasley trait and Liam isn’t an exception to that. He doesn’t let others back him into a corner or push him around; but he is peaceful about it. Liam has an interest in muggle literature and film (one can tell by his pets’ names); he would consider himself well-read in both muggle and wizard literature. Traveling is a favorite pastime of Liam’s, especially if it’s to go see different dragon breeds around the world. He also likes to visit his grandparents at the Burrow because he finds it very peaceful there – it’s like an escape for him. He’s usually always in good spirits and will tease his younger cousins.

BOGGART: Failure at what he loves most.
DEMENTOR: When Liam was given a dragon of his own, it was easy to handle at first. But as the dragon, Puff, grew up and got bigger, Liam needed constant help with her. Once night, he tried to handle her himself. Something went wrong and she scratched him – he has the scar on his right hip to prove it. Liam thought he was going to die that night.
PATRONUS: Five years ago, Liam’s father let him stay up well beyond his curfew to watch a dragon hatch. Even though he’d seen it many times before, Liam never tired of it; but this was different because it was the egg from his favorite dragon that they had. When the dragon hatched, Charlie surprised his son by letting him own that dragon specifically – no one else could do anything with it unless they had permission from Liam.
MIRROR OF ERISED: To be a successful dragonologist like his father one day.
VERITASERUM:
1) He dated an older woman (23) when he was sixteen. She works at the dragon sanctuary his father owns/manages. They broke up before he came to Hogwarts for his final year.
2) He loves musicals.
3) He had a crush on his Care of Magical Creatures Professor.

FATHER: Charlie Weasley, 50, dragonologist
MOTHER: Mandy Weasley (nee Brocklehurst), 43, Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures
SIBLINGS: -- -- Weasley, 12/second year
OTHER IMPORTANT FAMILY: The rest of the Weasleys and the rest of the Potters
HISTORY:
Liam was born to Charlie and Mandy Weasley, who were older than the other parents in the family when they became parents for the first time. There is a seven year difference between Charlie and Mandy, but they couldn’t be more in love. They met when Mandy went to inspect Charlie’s dragon sanctuary in her early twenties. That night, they ended up bed together and rest, as they say, is history. They were married a little over a year later and content with life. Children hadn’t even crossed their minds, but when it did, it wasn’t an easy battle. Their first few attempts were unsuccessful and then Mandy suffered from two miscarriages before Liam was finally born. He was a blessing to the couple who’d been trying so hard to get pregnant.
Born on a rainy day in early May, Liam is anything but an ‘under the whether’ kind of guy. He’s sunny and has a great disposition; he has since he was a baby. He was spoilt (to the best of their ability) by his parents yet he never turned into a brat. Liam’s home life is very loving and caring; it’s a home for young children to thrive in. His father runs and owns a dragon sanctuary in Romania. At a young age, Liam was enticed by the creature, but he was never allowed to visit the full-grown dragons. He watched hatching after hatching and even visited the smaller, still developing dragons with the assistance of his parents. His eyes always lit up when he got to see them; dragons were definitely in his blood.
Liam developed just as a normal child should; he didn’t speak early, he didn’t walk late. Everything came right on time, including his first signs of magic. He was a fairly easy child to satisfy; if he was upset, his parents simply brought him out to see the dragons and he’d cheer up instantly. When Liam was five, his mother had another child. A girl, making Liam an older brother. The baby was fussy and the five-year-old was pleased because that meant he got to spend more time with his father and the dragons than in the house with his mother and the new, whiny baby.
As expected, Liam received his letter to Hogwarts and went off to the school when he was eleven. He left behind his six-year-old sister, his parents and (much to his disappointment) the dragons. But he’d packed several pictures of his favorite ones, so it wasn’t too bad. Liam was sorted into Hufflepuff (most likely due to his gentle nature) and his cousin, James (who is the same age), was sorted in Gryffindor. This didn’t upset Liam too much; he lived far away from the rest of his family, in Romania, so they weren’t too close. But he still would have liked to share a house with his cousin. As it turned out, though, Liam settled in well to his house and made friends quickly. Nothing out of the ordinary happened to Liam in his first year, except that his bad homework habits developed and he has yet to break them.
During the summer he was twelve, Liam watched an egg from his favorite Norwegian Ridgeback hatch. Much to his surprise, his father gave him that dragon. It was, by far, the best moment of Liam’s life – and still is. The gesture also brought father and son closer together. Charlie promised his son that they’d train the dragon (whom Liam named Puff) together. He didn’t back out on his word. Liam never handled Puff without his father present – except for one night. However, that night, Puff caught her claw in his skin and ripped open a gash on Liam’s right hip. It had since healed, but there’s a fairly big scar.
Liam worked through the next few years without much incident. His schoolwork continued to be average (except Care of Magical Creatures) and his bright disposition only blossomed. As he became a teenager and hormones started raging, Liam was a social butterfly. He flirted shamelessly with the girls, especially blonde ones. (He finds himself drawn to them.) He’s more mature than most kids his age and that is the reason why, at sixteen, he began to date a twenty-three year old. The woman, Daciana, was a worker at his father’s dragon sanctuary. Liam never loved her, but it was exciting to have a secret relationship. He lost his virginity to her. They’ve recently broken up and now Daciana has a new beau. Liam is finishing his last year of Hogwarts and has plans to become a dragonolist after graduation.
